This is a nice hotel in a very convenient location to Mid-Town. There are very nice restaurants and such nearby. The hotel rooms are a little small but for the price I paid I am not complaining. This hotel like so many others is understaffed and so service from the kitchen was slow for breakfast. The waitress was very nice and she did the best she could serving all those customers single-handedly. This is a management issue and not a staff issue. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms and showers were modern and new. The lobby and courtyard are very nice. Parking is $30 per night. Most hotels don't tell you this until after you've arrived and it's too late to get another reservation. You think you are getting a good deal and then there is this fee and that one that run the price up to what another hotel would be charging, anyway. I wish hotels were more honest and advertised what it is going to cost to stay there up front! Of course, Expedia allows them to do this so....

I would stay again

I stayed at this hotel after leaving a different hotel due to uncleanliness. The staff were all friendly and the hotel was comfortable and clean. Although I did not participate, they had several activities for quests in the courtyard, which made it feel lively and inviting. Activities included morning yoga, a fashion show and performance.

Voco the Darwin was a great place to stay for my family. We were in town as a vendor for an art show. Parking was convenient and there was overnight security in the lot for safety. Staff was cordial. The suite we booked was modern and very clean. We would stay again.
