My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Lagos Continental. Special mention to Omolara and Nimmy who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is located well for ease of travel around Victoria Island. We only breakfast in the hotel and that was of a good standard. We used the roof terrace bar a few times, that too was pretty good. We swam in the pool, it is very clean and maintained well - clean towels are provided and changing rooms are in decent condition. We indulged ourselves and had a massage by the in house Oriki SPA - also decent with staff that went above and beyond to mark our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebration, thank you. There certainly is room for improvement here and there - decor is dated and could be refreshed. Overall a good place to stay in Lagos | good value for money and the staff are the key to making everything work - they try very very hard.

Very disappointing. Check in took more than 30 mins. TV did not work in the room. Laundry service forgot to pick up my clothes. Everytime is signed for something on the room there was a long delay even when I informed the staff in advance. They often told me I had no credit when I did ( they check again and confirmed ). I was overcharged on my credit card when checking out. A refund to the credit card couldnt be given until the middle of the following week. They then offered me a bundle of naira as a refund. My fourth time staying at this hotel and will be my last.

I did not like the area it was loud on a main busy traffic area and for me I felt unsafe to walk the area. The clerk doing the check in was not friendly, nor did she appear to be concern about my needs.

Lagos Continental is a beautiful hotel. Staff are friendly and polite. Their Sunday brunch was a complete experience on its own. Wide variety of foods and entertainment to go with it. Also, their security is top notch as it would be quite difficult for you to get to the guest rooms if you weren’t a guest and did not have permission from a guest. However, I feel they still have a bit more to to do to catch up with the Intercontinental brand in many other parts of the world. Overall, it was a great experience.
