I stayed at Hotel Royal Bangkok in 2023 and 2025 because it's in the heart of Chinatown. The staff is always very helpful and the cleaning staff are friendly. The breakfast buffet offers a decent selection of food. The laundry facilities on the 9th floor is very convenient allowing me to pack less clothes. Some of the seat cushions on the lobby chairs are pretty worn and soft, so the furniture should be replaced. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again.

Located right in the middle of Chinatown, super loud and very tasty area at night. The room was clean and cold, gut Sound proofed, stuff friendly, pool at the rooftop great (from 7 to 21). Will come again. Thank you.

I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend! This hotel is right in the middle of bustling Chinatown. Very close to public transportation. The facilities were clean - especially loved the rooftop pool & skydeck.

Friendly staff and helpful staff all round. In china town road so took a while to get taxis as was very busy, all day and night. Hotel AC wasn’t very good at night and some of the lights in my room didn’t work.

Perfect for being central however if arriving or leaving at night there is no parking as stalls line the road. Nice pool area and breakfast reasonable. Staff mostly nice but could do with a doorman permanantly on duty to help with bags etc.
