This is in no way a 4 star property. On arrival the air conditioning was not working - whilst a staff member was sent to repair this, it was not very much improved and given the open windows and fans in the hallway, clearly a problem for the whole floor. The shower did not drain and the room had a bad smell. We were not advised before arriving that there would be exterior building works, just left a letter in the room recommending we keep curtains closed. We stayed only one of the three nights we had booked as preferred to stay elsewhere. It is very conveniently located for the skytrain but a dated hotel and not very comfortable so cannot recommend for end of a vacation when you want to relax and make the most of hotel facilities.

Great location and wonderful service! I had a great stay at the Eastin Grand Sathorn Hotel Bangkok. One of the biggest highlights was the direct skywalk from the 3rd floor to the BTS station—made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Connectivity to all major attractions was a breeze. The staff were extremely cordial and helpful, and customer support was excellent throughout my stay. In-room dining was decent, though I wish there were more late-night food options. Overall, a fantastic experience and I’d definitely recommend it!

I had an amazing experience staying at Eastin Grand. It was my first time in Thailand and I don’t have anything bad to say. Their location is extremely convenient, with a direct walking path to the sky train which you can use to get to just about anywhere worth seeing in Bangkok, it’s within 15-30 minutes of most popular areas. The room was clean and comfortable and I felt that all of the staff absolutely went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay. The room I chose had access to their lounge which was 100% worth it, their spread for breakfast was amazing, quiet and peaceful, a great way to start each day. The lounge also had a happy hour every night with more delicious food and complimentary drinks. If I had to nitpick one thing, their elevators can be a bit frustrating, if you don’t insert your room card and choose the floor within ~5 seconds, you’ll be taken to whoever has next queue’d the elevator before being able to get to your floor, but it was a minor inconvenience. If I decide to make another trip to Bangkok, I’ll definitely be staying at the Eastin Grand again.

Wonderful Hotel. This is my second stay at Eastin Grand Sathorn. Excellent and very clean bedrooms. Nice and modern large bathroom. Hotel room nicely decorated/well lit. Good quality amenities such as tea/coffee/sugar. Bathrooms and towels provided. Very large rooms and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and lunch buffet at the Glass House Restaurant. Both breakfast and lunch offer unbelievable selection of Asian/western cuisine. Breakfast served up to 1130 on weekends and no shortages of food. Nice bar area with pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Direct bridge from 3rd floor of hotel across road to BTS station and also cash machine in hotel. Excellent room service menu offering tasty food and really good portions. This was my second stay after first visit 01 year ago at this hotel and it did not disappoint and standards have been maintained. The only issue I had was sometimes plug points are faulty in rooms. Experienced on both visits. Would rate this hotel as 5 stars for cleanliness, location to BTS, quality of breakfast buffet/restaurants. Overall an excellent and pleasant stay.
