The hotel was close to the city centre. The hotel was quiet despite it being so close to the city centre. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel and rooms were very clean. There was a great selection of breakfast foods which we paid the additional fee for. The checking in and out of the hotel was easy.

Great location

We had a wonderful trip and this hotel was perfect! It was in a great location and it had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again! It was a little bit tricky getting an uber or taxi to drop off close to the hotel in the evening though, so I wouldn’t recommend if you have mobility issues.

Great location for easy walking access to many places of interest. Breakfast was lovely with good choice and variation. Bedroom with terrace is a fantastic choice quite spacious with two chairs and a table. Shower gel not replenished and even had to ask twice at reception but that was the only negative. Would really recommend.

This hotel was perfectly located to walk to the Cathedral and Roman wall. There were so many options for food and shopping: the hotel itself was located in a beautiful building and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We had luggage to hold on the day of our arrival as we had just disembarked from a Virgin Voyage cruise until our room was ready for check in. They accommodated us and shared some sites to see. We decided to take a very long walk to The Museu de Barca, but a taxi from the hotel to Barca will only run about 10-15£. If you have comfortable shoes, you can see so much in just a few hours. The room was decently spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable: the bathroom and water pressure were top tier, especially after a long day of site seeing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, most were fluent in English. The location of hotel is fabulous. The main drawback was, the hotel room was dated. There was broken furniture door in the room. Minimal toiletry provided, although not expected. Overall the room was comfortable enough for sleeping 3 people, it felt crmped trying to move about. The hotel lobby is quaint. Updated rooms would warrant a 5 rating. Until then it falls short but location tilts Catalonia de L'Àngel into a more desirable place to stay.
