Although this is a hostel type accommodation, we found it brilliant. Staff were great and very helpful. Room had 4 single bunk beds in it and bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was self service plentiful. Places to eat within a short(ish) walk. Was about 6 miles outside Barcelona and one of the routes to the hotel was blocked by roadworks which caused us satnav issues but that wasn't the hotels fault. Only dislike was the state of the free car park. It was covered in sand with big ruts in it. We had torrential rain during the night and came down to our bikes covered in sand where the rain had bounced off the ground. On balance we would still stay there again.

Very interesting Self sustaining foundation with hotel and school for kids, strong ecológical mentally, rooms can be a bit hot when coming in fue to energy conservation features. A bit pricey for all bunker beds rooms but it does the job for short stays. Keep up the environmental effort !

The positives: the room was clean. Front desk check in staff were kind. The agency initiative to support vulnerable children & youth is very nice. The negatives: Very inconvenient to get too from the airport. Added about an hour + train ticket costs per person. The building entrance is also hard to find. There was no soap in the washroom to wash hands.

This place will work for a one-night stay before a morning airport flight, but it’s no frills. Also if you book a single, you’re likely to get put in a quad with bunks…just for you. Also, some reviews said that there was no air conditioning, but there is. You can’t control it, but it was a pleasant surprise in the summer. Breakfast is bare bones.

Poor Air Conditioner or No Air Conditioner at all.

Air conditioning is set to 23 Celsius and cannot be lowered, it’s hard to tell if the AC fan speed works or not. Upon arrival my room felt like a sauna even though it is set to 23c, I complained to the front desk and was told if there’s no one in the room, the AC is set to be off, therefore, it takes hours to get the temp to a pleasant level. The temp inside the room was hotter than the temp outside of the building and yards, I was told by the front desk staff that they believed that the room feels like a sauna. If management is aware of this, I do not understand how they would not fix the settings so the temp and fan of the AC unit can be adjusted accordingly to the guests taste.

From the moment we arrived at approximately 10:30 p.m., the experience was unacceptable. The hotel had an overwhelming unpleasant smell, and your front desk staff showed little urgency or concern in helping us, despite the late hour. The room we were given was entirely misrepresented compared to what was advertised online. It was in extremely poor and unsanitary condition: There were dirty stains all over the bathroom, making it unusable. Blood was found on the floor, which is absolutely unacceptable and a serious health concern. We had to keep our shoes on throughout the stay due to how dirty the room was. More alarmingly, as a group of female guests, we felt completely unsafe. We heard someone rattling the balcony door, and were forced to move a bed in front of it for security. Throughout the night, we experienced multiple attempts of individuals knocking on and trying to open our room door. We were frightened and felt completely exposed and vulnerable. This experience was unsanitary, unsafe, and completely misrepresented by your hotel's online description.

Taxi to hostel $21 meter $15. Alberg Centre Esplai Hostel check in at 2pm not earlier 3 nights $187,61. Lunch cafe full $14 half $7 water$1,75 beer $1,50 soda $1,50. Breakfast included. Olive oil is the bomb. Had to move rooms because the AC did not work. Private room 6 bunkbeds private restroom and shower. Shower water floods but drys but looks like a leak. Comes with pillow, thin sheet and one towel no hand towels. super marcado for body soap 2.35 shampoo 2,45 drinks beer and chips 1,50. From hostel just through the alley. Freenow app for taxi there $25 return $28 fixed price. Fell asleep and almost missed dinner at 10pm. Breeze seems better than gigzby for wifi reception and calling. Able to use google maps navigation and call through whats app and text through apple. Meals at hostel are nothing special. Breakfast 8-10 not in cafe, Lunch starts at 130pm, dinner 8pm. Checkout 11 then doing laundry $4 euro washer $1 euro dryer. We had a big load so i needed 5 for dryer. Taking taxi to and from hostel cost us around $123.
