The benefit(price) is the location. The room was clean but by no means is this a 4 star. No amenities/perks that should be present in a 4 star. We prepaid for the breakfast and that price it might be “worth” it but it was subpar. Breakfast hours are til around 10am. But if you come after 9, lots of options are missing. They mixed are reservation at checkin with another couple and charged us an extra night for the city tax. But I noticed it as soon as we got to the room and it was quickly resolved/refunded. But they let us checkin a few hours early so I let that one go. Walkable to most attractions. Overall a good stay but don’t expect a 4 star.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Our only complaint was not understanding how to use the AC. Once we figured it out, the room was at a very comfortable temperature.

We LOVED this place and highly recommend it. Great locations with lots of restaurants, gelato shops, a sites nearby. Great room - spotlessly clean, well appointed. Staff are terrific. We stayed here both pre- and post-cruise. We arrived after a red eye flight and were not expecting our room to be ready, but it was and they let us check in early!!!!! After the cruise, we arrived back at our hotel early again and again our room was available. I cannot overstate how much we appreciated being able to check in early (I am not suggesting that will be available to everyone in every situation, obviously). I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Barcelona!

I highly recommend this hotel. Great location in the Gothic Quarter. Stellar service from front desk. Lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate area. Great rooms. A terrific choice when visiting Barcelona!

I was sick and finally had a surgery in the U.S. and this property did not refund any of my money for the 4 night stay!! I would have understood if they would have kept 1 or 2 days!! Expedia claimed that they negotiated 3 times with them with no refund!! I would not stay at a hotel who does not have empathy for guests!!
