Not what it said on the tin.

So I booked this hotel and it said free parking as a perk for Platinum status with Hotels.com. Got there to find there was no parking. I found the lady at the desk very dismissive of any support I asked for. Also, I had left my wife in the car as I was expecting to park - I was made to fill out all of the details on an iPad which was not working well & kept typing the wrong letters and wouldn’t delete. I asked 4 times for help and wasn’t given any. Then - I was made to take the iPad out to the car to get my wife to sign - even though I had asked if we could do this when she actually made it into the hotel. There is a way of making people feel welcome at a hotel - and this wasn’t it. So clearly Hotels.com and the hotel need to clarify what they advertise as options between them - as I’m sure the blame will just turn into finger pointing. However, being supportive and helpful to a customer is the first bit. A male employee on the door guided to a parking area - which was a cost I handn’t factored under the circumstances. There were other hotels I would have chosen if I’d known this was going to be the case. Room was fine. Area was ok.

Good location with great transport links

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a good location with a metro station directly outside and a 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas and the port. Rooms were a little dated but had everything needed for the stay including an iron. The view from the rooftop is stunning, especially at sunset. Don’t be fooled by the size of the pool though it is quite small, we didn’t use it but would be OK to cool off. Would definitely return and have recommended to others since our return.

The hotel itself was fine however the area was pretty rough and we did not feel safe walking home in the evening. I will say the hotel staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful. I wish it were in a better neighborhood

No tuve agua caliente. Estuve alojado en primera planta exterior y los cerramientos no deben ser muy buenos porque me despertaron ruidos durante toda la noche. Las almohadas no me gustaron.

The minute I stepped into the reception, I knew it was going to like my stay. The front lobby was spacious and so was our room. The room was modern and had the right storage room in the bathroom and in the room. The king bed was heaven as I slept so well even with my friend sharing the same bed. We walked to La Ramblas area and other areas. Would come back if visiting again.

Staff were helpful and very professional, the hotel was nice and walking distance from a lot of places we wanted to visit. Beds comfortable. The only issue is that our room was to the street and you could people talking and the day of the marathon people cheering.
