This trip was for vacation. The hotel was beautiful, small, quaint. The location was fabulous. We walked around, bus service was a few blocks away. The air conditioner didn’t work so it gets a 3 star.

Magnificent! The location was perfect and the hotel was absolutely beautiful! The room was spacious and incredible. The staff were so kind and so helpful! Amazing place to stay. Loved the two balconies overlooking the Gothic Quarter and the narrow cobblestone streets and alley ways. Quaint and felt like we were in the old times of Spain.

Nice surprisingly quiet place considering that it is in a very busy location just a block from La Rombla. Room had a nice balcony where we could hang out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to most places and metro stops. Pictures accurately depict the rooms.

Hotel is centrally located and just a few minutes walk to many restaurant and shopping. The room was clean and spacious, staff were very helpful. We had breakfast every morning at a coffee shop just across the street, it was very convenient. Would stay there again.

Worst European hotel ever. It got two stars because I liked the location and the decor. However, there are many 300 euro per night hotels in the area that have breakfast that you don’t have to order the night before or if you forget, you can’t even get a coffee—unless you have a coin for the cheap coffee in a plastic cup from an automated machine that actually disintegrated, burned my hand, and dumped all over the floor—not the machines with amazing coffee. One day, I left two coins for the housekeeper and went downstairs to get coffee—I forgot to order so I was told no coffee and the hotel refused to break my 50 euro bill—told me I should carry more coins—but then happily gave it to me in change half hour later after sending me away to find a cafe for a cup. They had an issue with my cc and canceled my reservation while I was on my overnight flight getting there. I rebooked at 400 euro more. Cristina accused me of lying about it. Said it was my fault for not checking my cc statement even though I had a confirm from the agency.. Incredible horrible person. But the majority of the staff could have cared less about a senior female solo traveler. Soured my whole 5 nights in Barcelona. No help if you reservations, directions, They even tried and succeeded with keeping me from speaking to the manager who I believe is Gabriella. Clearly this hotel does not want tourists there—at least not Americans.

The room was clean. However, the shower curtain didn’t have a liner and water was constantly on the floor. The shower curtain didn’t stretch all the way across which caused water to spray on the floor. The front desk didn’t explain the use of the green and red card. Therefore, the room didn’t get cleaned. The front desk should communicate better to their guest,

Hotel had a great location however room was tiny; shower didnt have a full door so water would leak outside and covered the toilet. Shower towels were small and had to get extra towels to clean the water from the floor. Front desk waa helpful but staffing limited

Beautiful, intimate building. Classic. Very quiet. The street is run-down in an old city kind of way, but the convenience to Las Ramblas and easy walk to many other sites more than makes up for the street’s aesthetics.
