Great hotel for tourist 👌👌

My wife and I had a very nice stay at hotel barcelona princess. It was closely located to the metro which made it very convenient to access all.parts of the city. It is also one of the stops for the hop on hop off bus which was great for us since we had several hours to kill before we could check in . Overall it was a great hotel with nice amenities and a free mini bar in the room which was replenished daily. Also, tho it wasnt cheap, it was comparable in price to similar advertised hotels.

Barcelona Princess Hotel excellent!

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Barcelona Princess Hotel. Magnificent hotel which is close to restaurants and the major attractions of the city. Natalia was outstanding in reception, who answered all my questions. All the staff of the hotel make you feel welcomed. Will return!

We had a great stay - the staff were friendly and the hotel had everything we needed. The pools were lovely and warm (in April) and not too crowded during the time we were there. The sauna was a great addition too. It’s right next to a great shopping centre with loads of food options, and a short walk to a lovely beach, as well as close to team, metro and bus stops into the city centre. We also stayed during the electricity blackout, and need not have worried as the hotel ran a backup generator to ensure there was a working lift, rooms and safes were accessible, hot food was available, you could charge your phone downstairs in the lobby and an ATM was on hand to get cash out which eased our stress a lot. The only complaints we had were the room had a bad smell quite a bit of the time, but this weirdly stopped when the electricity went off - we wonder whether it’s something to do with a ventilation system, but we’ve also seen other reviews mention this. The lifts were also very slow during busy times, so leave plenty of time to get downstairs if you’ve got somewhere to be! Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return next time we visit Barcelona.

Good hotel - worth checking out.

Modern and clean in a good location. Breakfast very good, had a problem with the air conditioning but fixed quickly. Also there was a smell from the drain in the shower but we figured out that standing the bin over it kept the smell from room. Staff friendly and helpful. Complementary mini bar was a nice touch.

We had a family break, 14 YO and 12 YO The hotel room setup meant we had to take two rooms and there's no adjoining rooms There's 4 or 5 different dining options and I was staggered to see each had a different menu. We only ate at the lobby bar and no complaints. The cocktails are great. Usual wait for lifts but nothing bad to say A pool wasn't a priority but they have two. 23rd floor one is always super busy. 3rd floor one was fine for me and my daughter to swim. The rooms are a good specification, comfortable beds, nice shower and wc in separate rooms. Location is away from most of the better dining options and the main sites. Google led us to some very dingy areas looking for food. Metro is essential. Super close to the better beaches.

Just returned from a brilliant week at the Barcelona Princess. The hotel was very modern and impeccably clean and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the complimentary water and drinks in the mini bar. The rooftop pool was heated and had amazing views over Barcelona. The location of the hotel was perfect with the shopping mall next door and metro close by, on a direct line to the city centre. There is also a beach only a few minutes walk away. The only aspect of our stay I could fault is that I would have liked more privacy in the bathroom. I'd prefer it to have been completely closed off.

We had a lovely stay at this property which was located at a convenient location with transport links such as Metro & Bus stops in a walkable distance, and a Westfield equivalent shopping centre right next door with plenty of food options. The room had a sleek modern dark interior with lots of LED light strips (note that there is only warm yellow lighting in the room). All staff we spoke to were professional, courteous & super polite! The only criticism I have of the property is that the room accumulates a lot of dust which is evidently visible due to the all black furniture, however this was easily solved by the daily cleaning by the Housekeeping team and the TV in the room wasn’t a smart tv, and only had 2 English channels (BBC news & Comedy channel with only playing Futurama). I highly recommend this property, and will definitely be booking again if visiting Barcelona!

The double room ocean veiw we reserved was terrible. They show a window or balcony in description but the offered no balcony. Only got a room that windows are shutdown and don't open. They have shut them down intentionally, so if you want to open them you must pay extra. So no sea breeze, only smelly rooms. The aircondion does not work. They set it at 19 C but you cannot change it. Therefore you get cold to shut it down. Can't adust temp or fan. Sneaky way to make customers not use AC. They don't clean the room daily even if you leave the room at 8 am and leave sign to please make up my room. When i confronted them they said they have many rooms and they don't have time to clean everyroom. So i called management and the sent some to clean my room at 5 pm. Room has no napkins, no coffee maker, no kettle to make coffee or tea. Very small bathroom you barely fit in it and shower and bathroom are separated small rooms. Lights is terrible. This is the last time i would take a non American brand hotel. These moms and pops hotel are out to rip off customers and companies who sent their employees for meetings. By the way my room was very pricey about 300 usd per night. Figure it out before you reserve with this outfit.
