Wonderful hotel! Not only is this hotel in a great location, but the rooms are super modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had at any hotel, and I am an avid traveler; this was top-notch service and overall experience.

Nice hotel in a great location for our 3 night stay in January 2026. The rooms were comfortable, as was the bed. Small wardrobe, and a couple of drawers. Kettle in the room, with tea and coffee. Lovely clean bathroom, great shower. Soap, shower gel, shampoo, toothburshes in the bathroom. Rooms were serviced each morning, which was a bit hit and miss with clean mugs, and glasses, but otherwise good. There was an adequate selection at the buffet breakfast, however, the 'hot' buffet food was always luke warm, not hot. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

We totally loved Hotel Medinacelli! The hotel was beautiful and the staff was awesome! We could not believe how spacious our room was! We had 2 balconies overlooking the courtyard! Breakfast was great! We will be back.

I ordered Uber, did not need a shuttle. This cost me ca. 30 EUR and took about 20 minutes at most. The room was exceptional. The decor tasteful (beige and light brown hues) and new. The hotel was fully renovated in 2025. Unfortunately, my flight was too early. I wasn’t able to have breakfast.

We got two rooms there for our final night stay before flying home. The staff were very helpful. We needed to park our rental car, and the price was reasonable, and the facility was very close. We had our children in one room, and my spouse and I stayed in another room, we were put on different floors. It would have been better if they could have put us closer to our children, but that was not a huge issue. The breakfast was very clean, had a lot of variety, and was worth the cost. We would recommend to others and will stay there again on our next visit.

There are elevators inside, this is a very nice outside staircase into the hotel.
There are places to eat and a market all very close. It is also close to the Gothic quarter and Las Ramblas.

Hotel is essentially brand new due to recent renovations. Staff is helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and baths have great amenities like rain shower heads, adequate shelving and very very clean.
