Mostly everything during our stay was great including the room and the service. Location was super convenient and walkable to lots of places. Though there was some noise from upstairs (maybe or from next door) at night. Sounds like they were moving the furniture. Also note that they didn’t help with your luggage during check-in or check-out. You might expect that level of service from a five star hotel while it seemed that they were lacking it.

Breakfast area is small, we waited for a table for about 20minus, not much variety of food. When we arrived, the bacon and fried vegetables were all gone. We asked the waiter several times for more bacon and waited for nearly 20 minutes before they added more.It was only 10am at that time, which was the prime time for breakfast. Apart from that, the hotel's facilities and services were OK. A large bottle of CAVA every day was the only plus point. The facilities were not up to the five-star standard.

Excellent from the first step into the hotel. A warm and friendly welcome from staff with hand towels and and a drink. Quick check-in and escort to our room. The room had a beautiful shower and a bathtub, seperated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Very spacious, equiped with a coffee station and options for tea. A decent sized couch and large comfortable bed. A gorgeous heated pool was located on the rooftop with a picturesque view of Barcelona. The dining options were fantastic. Xerta was given a Michilen star recently. Great options for the buffet breakfast with an a la carte menu. The staff made my stay very special for my birthday with a gift of champagne, a card and chocolates. Highly recommend staying here. Great transport links, amenities and restaurants within walking distance. I'm already preparing my next trip to Barcelona with Ohla Eixample.

The best service I’ve had in a hotel in a very long time. From accommodating an early check in, friendly staff, and excellent buffet brekky that includes free champagne to making us an early morning lunch box to take on the plane. Thanks team.

Ok, Ive stayed at two other properties in Barcelona, both better than here. The hotel was fine, the staff was average, the room was ok, very small with two very small twins. I was just not impressed with anything at this hotel. A couple of staff were rude, the sushi restaurant was the best thing at the hotel, the bar was no good, bartender no good. I wouldn't consider staying here again.

Wonderful Stay

Our room was the Atic top floor, very roomy, balcony was a nice touch. Bed was very comfy, in fact loved the pillows made note of the manufacturer so we could get some for home use. HVac worked well. Room was quiet, breakfast was excellent - probably one of the best we have been to. Actually one of the best stay and room ever. Staff were very attentive and helpful, turn down service in the evening, always made sure we had water, supplies etc. No complaints what so ever, would definitely stay at this hotel again. Close to attractions, shopping and lots of cafes in area. We ranked this hotel a 10
