Room we were provided with was above the bar and restaurant. The room was very loud at night and again in the morning when the cleaning staff were cleaning the bar. Our sleep was disturbed on both occasions.
On arrival I wouldn't say the receptionist was very welcoming and didn't make me feel good to be there. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a let down with no plates for the croissants or jam to go with them. Overall, felt it was a poor selection for the so called standard of hotel

Great location - very walkable to all sorts of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Property could do with a bit of a refresh, as it's quite dated. However, linens and towels were fresh and clean. My room was in an unfortunate location, as it shared a wall with the restaurant next door and was quite noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Staff were all lovely and the grab and go breakfast was perfect for me.
We celebrated our 30th anniversary 3 years late with a trip with dear friends. The staff were great. The continental breakfast was perfect.
All good and great memories. Every place and experience was very friendly.
It was an old converted building right in the harbour in St John's. It had an old-world elegance under wooden beams with dormer wi dows. The bathtoom was fabulous!
I thoight the breakfast lacked imagination. Everything was wrapped in cling film and there were no plates. Military lunches are more elegant!

The location is great and the staff is nice. I love having Alexa in the room and a fireplace. However we reconfirmed that my friends and I would be on a lower floor because it was difficult to walk upstairs. We also said we wanted rooms close together we were not honored this even though we booked our room six months ago And reconfirmed four days ago when we were here before. My room is in an attic. I cannot stand in part of it because you would hit your head. There’s a tiny little 2 foot window with no view no light and it’s on the street very noisy which I asked for a quiet room it is unacceptable that they did not honor our request. I think they should give me a partial refund. I have to walk up a whole flight of stairs every time I leave the room. I am coming back here again, but will not stay at this hotel because of this.
I absolutely loved having my little fireplace in the room But best of all was Alexa in the room. That was incredible. The staff was very friendly and the muffins were delicious. An easy walk to places.

We really enjoyed being so close to St. John's Harbor and walking along the water watching cargo ships and fishing vessels being loaded. Close to shopping and restaurants as well. Our room was quite large and I loved the towel warmer next to the jetted tub! We will stay here again.
No elevator to my floor. Had to use the elevator to the second floor then carry my suitcase to the third floor. Room was very dark with limited lighting.
