Okay, we're feeling your vibe! It's time to find your passport, bid farewell to the nine-to-five and experience the unique sights and sounds of Bargo. Situated in the popular region of New South Wales (which is renowned for its awesome rural landscapes, beaches and coastal plains), it promises to be the getaway you deserve!

It sits 170 kilometres to the northeast of Canberra, the capital of Australia.

Spend at least a couple of hours collecting seashells at Bondi Beach or Newport Beach.

Break out on a journey to some nearby natural attractions. 50 kilometres out of Bargo, Royal National Park is waiting to be explored. Mount Keira, 30 kilometres away, is another lovely place to hang out in the outdoors.

Kit yourself out in red and white and see the St. George Illawarra Dragons in action at their home turf of WIN Stadium. Located 35 kilometres away in Wollongong City Council, you can also go and throw your support behind the South Coast Wolves FC.

If you want to expand your horizons, add a jaunt to Tahmoor to your plan. This destination is 8 kilometres to the north and is home to Thirlmere Lakes National Park and the Trainworks. Need some more ideas? Woodlands is 20 kilometres to the southwest of Bargo and is known for the International Cricket Hall of Fame and the Bowral Golf Course.

Feel like checking out the Centennial Vineyards, the Corbett Gardens and Mount Jellore Lookout? Make tracks to Mittagong, 20 kilometres to the southwest, and set up base. These attractions, as well as the Artemis Wines and Destination Southern Highlands, are all close.

An excellent way to explore the greater region is to partake in an outdoor adventure. Mountain climbing is one of the most popular pastimes around here. But if that doesn't pique your interest, you could always go hiking.

If you're flying home, it's a wise idea to map out a route to the terminal in advance. From the middle of Bargo, you'll need to journey about 65 kilometres northeast to Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD), the nearest airport.
