Lovely swimming from front garden/beach. Noise from traffic on main rd directly behind. Very small rooms. Staff very helpful. Parking. Near good restaurants. Great for a short stay without large bags which do no fit in rooms.

What a view!

This is a beautiful family run hotel in a stunning location. I believe all rooms have a fantastic lake view. We initially booked a room on the ground floor but were upgraded to a higher floor on arrival which we were very happy about. The room was nice, very spacious and even though the hotel is old the room was very well maintained and everything was spotlessly clean. All the staff were absolutely fantastic, especially loved the lady at the reception (not sure if she's the current owner?) definitely knew what she was doing and was remarkably efficient immediately giving us all the information we could ever ask for. Breakfast was continental but quite good. Even though the hotel is located close to a road, it wasn't too noisy in the room. Free parking and excellent wifi! There are some great restaurants in the town max 10 minute walk from the hotel. The walk is very nice, along the shore of the lake (mostly). Definitely recommended!

Beautiful views, fantastic staff

We recently stayed here for 6 nights, lovely family run hotel, extremely welcoming, lovely room, cleaned every day and fresh towels, great little private beach with loungers, short walk into nearby town with nice restaurants and beach. Would recommend.

Lovely Lakeside Hotel

Lovely stay in a lovely lake side hotel with lovely service. One thing to note its not safely possible to walk to Baveno as there are no pavements but the nearer village of Feriola is also beautiful and an easy walk. Baveno is also lovely and a few minutes by car.

Lovely position

The hotel overlooks the lake and has an unrivalled view. There is also access to the water and the possibility of hiring a boat. While there is very little around the hotel, the little village of Feriola is only 15 minutes walk and there you can find 4 restaurants, cafes and ice cream shops.

Quirky but great hotel

Great little hotel on the banks of Lake Maggiore, only a short walk from some very nice restaurants in Baveno. The décor is old and traditional, but very homely, while the service from all staff was excellent. If you like quaint and interesting places with a great view, then this is for you. Despite being right next to a road, all rooms face towards the lake (away from the road), so it isn't that noisy.

Excellent position

Excellent position, very easy to find. Can't comment on the evening meal because we were not allowed to use the restaurant when we arrived the 1st night because they had a coach load in to eat. Breakfast was adequate but nothing spectacular, unlike the view which was amazing. Shower was slow and luke warm. In general the hotel could do with an update. Would we stay there again, yes. But not at the full amount, we paid a discount price upfront.

Superb location overlooking lake

Very pleasant one night stay at this family run hotel. Warm welcome, it appears all rooms face the lake & our room had a great view. Good selection at continental breakfast. No evening meal available and local restaurants a fair distance away - apart from that perfect.

Lovely location

Very nice older hotel which was very clean. The view of the lake is fantastic and all the rooms face the lake. We would definitely stay there again but we would try to get a room with a better shower. We had a tub but the hand shower was low not high on the wall so I was not able to wash my hair - not having mastered the art of washing my hair one-handed!

In keeping with surrounding area, fabulous views across and around the lake. Tired and in need of revamping,,, has good potential if effort and money spent on the hotel. Overall not a bad hotel but does need updating throughout.

Wij (4p) waren (helaas) op doorreis en kwamen voor 1 nacht in dit hotel. Super mooie plek direct aan het meer. Ontbijt was erg goed verzorgd. Ondanks dat we 1 nachtje hebben geslapen, in een overigens kleine kamer, hebben we volop genoten van de plek! Zeer aan te raden, ook voor langer verblijf.

Viihtyisä hotelli viikonloppuvisiittiä varten

Miellyttävä pieni hotelli Lago Maggioren rannalla. Hyvä sijainti alueen tutkimiseen. Olin oikein tyytyväinen hotelliin, hyvä tosin tiedostaa että takana kulkevasta tiestä lähtee ääntä joka kuuluu rannalle, aamiainen on vähän nuuka ja ranta on pääasiassa auringonottoa varten. Järvessä on mukava uida mutta uimiseen ei tätä rantaa ole varsinaisesti suunniteltu vaan enempi veneilijöitä varten. Henkilökunta on todella ystävällistä ja paikka on muutenkin siisti.

Plutôt 2 étoiles. Déçue.

Déçue par cet hôtel plutôt 2 * que 3. Odeur très forte dans la chambre, le lavabo de toilette est dans la chambre ,sympa pour le conjoint ! La porte de la salle d'eau est vitrée. La chambre était juste derrière le bar de la petite plage avec musique à fond jusqu'à 23h. Donc les gens passent juste devant la terrasse de la chambre, il faut donc avoir les rideaux fermés. Il faut savoir aussi que le parking est payant et que l'hôtel est en fait loin de Baveno à pied plus de 3km le long d'une route très circulante et peu de trottoir. Par contre jolie salle de petit déjeuner et personnel ok.

Very comfortable hotel, in a beautiful location. Tip: Treat yourself to a dinner on the "Molo54" restaurant boat, 5 minute walk from the hotel. Spectacular food, and the restaurant is owned by the same people who own the hotel, so you get a discount! All in all, it was a very special stay, thank you!
