We were worried about the walk from the train station with luggage. Yes, it was a little farther out, but our accommodation in the family apartment was worth the extra steps. The apartment was fully stocked, clean, and roomy enough for the three of us. We loved the family atmosphere.
We walked the mile or so from the train with our carry on luggage. Did not realize this would be all uphill. Liked the history that we were staying in what was once a horse stable, 200 years ago. And very helpful staff. Though my we lost the key and the friendly manager came back with a second key for us.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very close to city center, and many shops and eateries.
Our hostess was warm and inviting. We felt welcome. The hotel is clean and is located within walking distance of attractions and dining. Overall, a great experience.
I liked the relaxed atmosphere and feeling
very comfortable in the surroundings.
The staff very really friendly and helpful in every way possible.
A lovely first part of my holiday.
Great little place for seeing Normandy. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. Parking nearby was easy. Nice showers, but not a lot of other amenities to the rooms. No lift.
Everything is easy to walk to, staff very helpful and friendly. Property was clean and secure.
Room was small but I believe that is typical for France. Twin bed was enough for 1 person. I arrived at 3:15 but had to wait because they don’t open the office for check in until 4 pm. The continental breakfast was very good, everything was fresh and good coffee. They also allowed me to leave my bags there while I was on a day tour. Again staff was very helpful
The hotel had a check in time for 4p. Which I think is very late.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The property is clean and the staff are very nice but I feel lonely that it is not fully staffed should I need help. I would have to call. I understand the reason. It’s a small hotel. The location is close to a lot of places within walking distance and free public parking just across. The hotel is quiet but with very simple amenities. Good for staying for 2 nights but I don’t see staying for longer days.
Nice quaint place to stay. Walking distance to all you need, even a market was close by. We stayed in the apartment so we had the option to eat out or make food. The inn keepers were very kind. It exceeded our expectations.
The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a nice heated towel rack in the bathroom. They have a lovely extra room for the luggage if your train out is later in the day. We had early morning tours and the coffee shops and boulangeries are close. Lovely, kind hosts.
Even though it’s on the main drag, it’s very quiet and cozy. It’s within walking distance of at least 20 small restaurants. Wonderful hosts! Delicious breakfast!
It’s hard to realize that about 80 years ago, tanks landing at Normandy rolled along these same streets.
