Check was smooth but was not hapoy my card details were taken despite having already paid. Advised this was in case I ran a tab up 😞 Room was tired and dated, mattress so worn it had body indents either side with ridge in the middle, most uncomfortable! Bathroom was also dated with shower being a fair trickle at best. However the Room was clean, staff were pleasant and it was handy for what I needed.

What a bargain. Friendly efficient staff. Place is clean and well kept. It’s not a posh hotel but does what it does really well. On-site 24 hour cafe too for those arriving late. I’d definitely book again.

Toilet hadn't been cleaned properly. £6.15 for a pint of bitter was the price you'd expect to pay in London and was extortionate. The couple of staff I spoke to were polite and efficient.

As mentioned by most reviews - the rooms are rear facing and quiet. It’s has a cosmetic update in side so it feels clean and tidy. The beds were on the hard side or at least the bases and mattress need updating. Having worked for a major roadside hotel chain for 3 years I can confidently say it’s well kept and clean. Pillow protectors and mattress covers were in use which is a huge bonus. Room 6 the bathroom extract was non existent so you’ll need the windows open after a shower. Overall excellent offering at a great price
