Front desk was very fast in check in. Vidyuth was very helpful in making the necessary arrangements. Ensured all luggages were sent to hotel rooms while we left for shopping as it was not check in time yet. It was completely hassel free which saved alot of time.
Breakfast was filled with variety and wirh live kitchen serving hot food.
Nearby Iskon temple and shopping area. Very convinient.

I booked 3 rooms in the property, 2 superior & 1 club.1) Room1(Superior):The size & room amenities were decent.The ac was directed towards the sleeping area & could not be controlled.So we had to turn it on/off so as to regulate the temperature which i thought was a pain. The bathroom wasn't designed as it should be for a 4* hotel.The tap fittings were outdated & wasn't functioning well.Hot water in the bathroom was very scarce.2) Room2(superior):The A/c in this room did not work & we had to repeatedly call the maintenace to fix.There was an infant in this room and it was terribly hot to stay without the a/c.Even after repeatedly complaining they did not or could not fix it & the guests in the room spent the whole evening in another of our room.Finally close to midnight they gave us another room which also had a faulty a/c.We were tired & gave up.Bathroom in this room was great.3) Room3(club room):Had booked a club room for my parents as the size was bigger but here again the nightmare with the a/c continues.Similar situation as the Room 2 & finally after mid night this room was also changed to the adjacent one and they provided with a cooler which i think is creepy because if i had to book a room with air cooler i would have looked for a hotel which is cheaper and not pay ridiculous amount.The next day we continued with 2 rooms as the hotel promised better service which to an extent they did.But I cant forget all that happened previous night. Staffs were friendly.
Our experience was terrible. There was muddy water in the shower. The manager was least bothered to address our concern when the issue was reported. The Wifi was crappy. When asked for a compensation, the Manager gave us a Dinner voucher for two with a validity from Jan 2020 to March 2020. That was ridiculous. It appeared that they were not interested to address our concerns. Will never ever recommend to anyone. In case if I come to know someone whom I know is planning to stay there, I will definitely discourage them to stay at Goldfinch Bangalore. The manager attitude is that they are too big to fail. Horrible horrible experience
Don't get me wrong. This is a good hotel and must have seen good days, before. But I got the feeling that the place is run entirely by interns who were inexperienced and inadequate.
My first encounter happened with a check-in girl who charged GST over the GST-included amount and decided to charge my card for it. Luckily, I found out the mistake and she promised that the excess amount will be refunded on check-out. Next, I go up to the room and the lock would not open. So the intern from the reception came up and forced the lock to yield. This happened every time, I wanted to open the door, someone was called to force the lock open!
I discovered that my bags weren't sent up, so I had to call for them . Which became a recurring thing. The AC wouldn't work. Call and remind. The kettle wouldn't work. Call and complain. Remind again. The flush wouldn't flush. Call. The fridge had beers but no bottle opener. Call and ask. Remind after 15 mins. Fellow comes with an opener in his keychain and wanted to open as many as I wanted to drink, in one go!
They say filter coffee, but they send instant coffee. There is food served in the room with no hand tissues. Hand towels are missing in the bathroom! Two 500 ml bottles of water, are given per day. Call and ask for more. Internet doesn't work on its own. Call and remind every time you get into the room. The key cards do not get updated automatically. Call and remind. The list goes on. What goes for the place is that its clean n peaceful
