Staffs were friendly, the amenities were a little bit old but worthy for the price we have paid. Moreover, the location was so good that we could come to every tourist attractions within 15 minutes and the main station in 2 minutes. A backdrawn was the noise that we had to deal with every night, quite loud and continous.

We paid more or less the same price in Amsterdam, here breakfast was not included. Other than that the location of the hotel was convenient to take the bus or tram and discover Berlin.

- Just OK... The floors are carpeted, but were never steamed... Lots of old stains... - Best feature is proximity to the rail station (10 min walk), Reichstag building and the Brandenburg Gate... - The breakfast is quite pricey (18 euros)... - The hotel is very close to Charite Hospital, so be prepared to hear ambulance sirens day and night... - no central air; you will get a heater to use, if you need one...

Friendly staff, clean bed and bath; carpets didn’t look clean - very stained! Location is short ride from the main areas, safe but not vibrant. Right on the road, ease if access but lower level rooms get traffic noise, unless window is tightly shut. No AC, a floor fan is provided.

Would not recommend

Where to start…. We arrived in the room to find that the air conditioning was set so that you could not change the temperature to below 22° making the room incredibly stuffy and hot. We had one window which opened which was the length of a door to the noisy street outside (on the first floor so people could see in if it was open). The huge windows from top to bottom of the room made having the curtains open difficult as it heated the room up (there was no way to cool it down) and completely hindered any privacy however this meant no light in the room because there was only a lamp and two reading lights above the bed - no main light. The beds were extremely springy and uncomfortable and we were not given pillows but instead given a thin duvet and duvet cover folded up into a pillow shape which was incredibly uncomfortable and made sleep almost impossible. The room service was also pretty poor, all that was given was making the bed. Our towels were not changed throughout our stay and our coffee and tea were not topped up. Also, the photos on the website do not match the reality of the hotel in the slightest. However, the staff on the front desk were perfectly pleasant and helpful it’s just a shame everything else didn’t match the same quality.

Great choice close to station

Good value hotel, walking distance from Hauptbahnhof, in a quiet area. The Berlin Natural History Museum is directly opposite and is really interesting

Nice hotel really close to main train station

Nice hotel and a great location, 10 mins from main station. Couple of small items- we were not provided with the normal information in the room, so we didn't know checkout times, bar prices etc, lots of drawers and cupboards in rooms so we may have missed it. On the first night we could not work out how to close the curtains, this made for a very bright morning, we worked it out the next day! If you have the circular room on the top floor look for a switch to close the curtains. staff were excellent.

Disappointed

The room was in need of repair. The shower flooded the bathroom, which in turn flooded the sleeping area of the room. The “pillows” on the bed were not pillows at all, they were sheets put into a pillow case.
