The place was amazing! The room was small but I never really wanted more or felt cramped. It’s walking distance from many amazing restaurants and a grocery store. They only have laundry service but there is a really clean laundry mat near by if you want do it yourself. The public bus stop outside got us everywhere we needed and a hop on hop off also stops near by. Really nice place!!!

It was very clean and in a great location. I stayed for both the conference and vacation. The service was neither pretentious nor overly formal—it was just right. I will stay here again.

Hotel Berlin Berlin: Disappointing on Every Level I stayed at Hotel Berlin Berlin for two nights, and unfortunately, the experience was consistently frustrating. Check-in was a disaster: no staff available to help, and the self-check-in kiosks didn’t work. Once I finally accessed the room, the problems kept coming: • The bed creaked loudly with every movement. • The air conditioning didn’t function, making the room stuffy and uncomfortable. • Housekeeping failed to replace the towels, despite me leaving them on the shower floor as requested. • The room smelled like cigarettes, despite supposedly being smoke-free. • The phone next to the bed was useless—not just unplugged, but missing a cord entirely, which caused me to miss important calls. Elsewhere in the hotel, the lobby barista was rude and unprofessional, and the self-check grocery shop was a rip-off, charging €5 for a small bottle of water. This was my second and final stay at this hotel. With so many better options nearby, I recommend skipping Hotel Berlin Berlin. Save yourself the disappointment.

Excellent, helpful staff. Unfortunately, this is a hotel designed by people who have never stayed in a hotel, not even once. You would think room 1701 is on the 17th floor. No. It’s on the 7th floor, and you have to switch elevators and walk down a long hall to get to the correct elevator. The checkout kiosk touch screen was nearly totally unresponsive. If someone makes a mistake, then, at the very end, they are told “you did not enter all the necessary information”. It doesn’t say what is missing. Instead, it kicks the customer right back to the starting page. Again, designed by someone who had never used it, not even once.
What a wonderful, artistic lamp! Unfortunately, it takes up nearly all of the table space next to the bed, so there’s no room for anything that *you* want to put there.

An amazing breakfast and a comfy family suite

When we arrived and waited for checkin, we thought the surrounding area and the park across the street were NOT GOOD. But as soon as we entered the property of the hotel, we were extremely happy! What an amazing hotel experience!

Recommended stay

Location great, walkable to city centre and to main shopping area. Taxis always available too. Hop on hop off bus stopped v near hotel to get a tour of Berlin (recommended). Staff v helpful and courteous. Check in quick & easy. Loved the ever changing murals in main lobby area.
