This hotel is only 5 minutes walking distance from the huge shopping building Kadewe, the main metro/train station. It's on one of the main street of Berlin so it's safe for late nights. The room is clean. There's coffee and tea with an electronic kettle available in the room.

Conveniently located to train stations, grocery store and restaurants. Area around the hotel felt busy but safe. Myself and Expedia had a difficult time getting a hold of the hotel by phone.

So booked this for a family of 3. The bathroom had no door, the shower was see through glass. I complained they said the superior room was like that. Expedia failed to mention this on the description. I wanted to change room. They had no other room available. The mini cooler was broken. For a renowned Riu Hotel this was unacceptable. Felt like a 3* hotel. Won’t be booking again!

Nice hotel and nice room but strange that there is no doors to the bathroom in a family hotel. If you take a shower you are not able to close a door, why? And the staff at the breakfast must get paid depending on the amount of plates they pick. The most stressful breakfast I've had, trying to hold on to my plate. But overall a nice hotel. Modern and stylish rooms.
