We stayed in a sea view room at Beachfront at Bicheno and were very happy with it. The room was comfortable, well laid out, and the sea view was genuinely lovely — perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of driving along the coast. The location is excellent, right by the water and close to town, making it easy to get around on foot. It’s not over the top or flashy, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable stay in a great location with a view that’s worth paying for.

Staff at reception was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and very comfortable, as was the bed. Loved my patio overlooking the sea. Location was fantastic as could walk to the Penguin Tour and to the Lobster Shack and just about anything else you would need in this very lovely, very welcoming town.

Staff member at reception was friendly and efficient. Room exceeded our expectations, it was spacious and the view from our balcony was fabulous. Having the tavern next door was a bonus and we enjoyed a lovely meal after our walk to the blow hole.

Rooms were comfortable and had basis amenities required. Rug on the floor was very dirty and needs cleaning, skirting were very dusty. Shower very narrow. Disturbed by housekeeping an hour before check out and advised we were still there, 5 minutes later housekeeping tried to enter twice using the swipe card! No-one to greet us upon check out, just left key in the basket on the front desk.

Room was adequate and clean. The online description led me to believe the rooms would have faced more to the sea but we had one overlooking the pool. It was fine as we were there only 1 night. An upgrade would have been another 80 dollars though!!!

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. This hotel is ideally suited for exploring the East Coast. There are plenty of good dining options and it is close to an IGA. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was excellent, perfect for what we needed. The room was spacious and clean. We could park right Infront of our room, which made unloading/loading luggage very easy. Our only problem was checking in. We advised the time we would arrive, as we knew there was a limited window for check in. When we arrived another guest was being helped, so we waited patiently. The staff member finished up and walked back into the building without acknowledging us. I was abit perplexed. Walked to the door, knocked and was very abruptly told to go to the restaurant/bar in ten minutes to check in. We waited in our car. I went over to the bar, waited around, several staff (including the same lady) saw me and never said anything. I finally walked up to the bar and check in was really simple. Apart from that, everything was great
