This house is located in a picturesque location. The lake is part of the back yard and yes you can walk out back where you will see a trail that leads to the lake shore. I felt so sad to see a home with such potential abused and neglected with no one to care for her. Be advised it is not handicap friendly. The front porch is rickety and wonky. I felt like I was walking into the vortex wonky house in Oregon! The porch is full of pine needles and webs that you can't enjoy standing out on the porch. The house is kinda dark in the main front living room, when we opened the blinds they came apart. Same thing happened in the master bedroom blinds. The ceiling fan worked but the light would not turn off unless you switch it off, so if you are a hot sleeper bring your own fan. Moving onto the master bathroom; the window does not stay open and has no screen either. The blinds had no capability of opening or closing because they were broken as well. The carpets look like they have never been cleaned. The bathroom mats were filthy and I would never step on them without any shoes or socks. The floor in downstairs bedroom was sticky. There was lots of webs all over the house. My question to the management; what does the person in charge of making sure the home is ready for guests do as far as cleaning? speaking of cleaning, do not use the coffee machine! It was full of calcium build up and mold. Be prepared to haul your trash in your car! u cant leave it there.
