I booked this hotel expecting a quiet, relaxing stay for myself after my daughters couldn’t make it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
When I arrived, there was a couple arguing loudly with the front desk, which set an uncomfortable tone. I was assigned Room 137 — directly beside the pool — even after mentioning that I wanted a quiet room. The area was noisy with kids yelling, splashing, and throwing footballs over people’s heads, so it was impossible to relax, even in the hot tub.
The remote control in my room didn’t work, and while the front desk clerk tried to help, she seemed uninterested and unprofessional. That night, I barely slept. My smartwatch showed only about three hours of light sleep, and I woke up itchy all over. The next day, I realized I had what appeared to be bed bug bites and later had to see a doctor for confirmation.
To make things worse, a guest got burned during breakfast, and when I told the front desk, the clerk didn’t even check on the woman — she just pointed toward the kitchen staff. Then, even though checkout wasn’t until noon and I had a “Do Not Disturb” sign up, housekeeping knocked on my door before 12:00 p.m.
Overall, this stay was stressful and unsanitary. I reached out to management with photos and a doctor’s note, but still haven’t heard back. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they address these serious cleanliness and customer service issues.
