The room was dull falling apart/dirty. Sugar coated with a lot of spray. The toilet didn’t work in our room. The bathroom floor was coming up and the door to the room have a huge hole.

Not it at all. I tried to cancel all reservations due to recent inclement weather which caused the cancelation of the event I was looking forward to. Now I am being sent reminders of that. I was disappointed in not being able to cancel and not getting any refund, but all these follow ups just make it worse.

I have never once stayed at a hotel that was so horrid. Front desk stopped taking calls and I needed to confirm something, the hotel itself was awful. Scratches on the doors, doors didn't close properly, everything was as gross as a hotel can get. I've stayed at a Red Roof in a bad part of South St. Louis, that was bad, but I can say, conservatively, that the Red Roof was worth twice as much in room quality and costed about half as much.

Our 2-day stay occurred during mid-December 2025. The site photos, both exterior and interior, are visually better than the actual location. Granted, Wyndham does NOT market La Quinta Inn as a Luxury property nor Resort, however, I felt a sense of disappointment upon entering the understated lobby to check in. Bells and Whistles, NO -- so don't expect it. Clean enough(?), YES. Our room, #311, fit within a similar sentiment and visual statement. I selected this particular La Quinta Inn based on its 8.2 rating, "Deluxe Executive Room" description, and proximity to relatives. General amenities, in-room comfort and desk space for my wife, (working remotely), were all preliminary considerations. Room size was fine, however, the lack of a decorative sofa table and/or dinette table with seating left me feeling LESS than "Deluxe Executive." Overall, I feel I disappointed my wife. I should have researched more extensively and disregarded the price-point. Objective Rating: Good Enough *for a short-term stay.
