Our "loft" room was in a separate entrance, but we had secure access at all hours and we enjoyed a spacious room with a sofa, large bathroom, generous closet space, and the option to open the windows. The hotel has a market next door and is within walking distance of other conveniences such as coffee shops, a beautiful local park, and the train station, or a very short bus ride to the station and other locations. We recommend Altera!

The loft room was in a nice quiet area and very spacious. Staff at reception and breakfast were all polite, helpful and happy. Thankfully their English was very good as well. Great hotel in a great city.

Our loft room was very large and clean. It was separate from the hotel. Breakfast was good with very supportive staff. A number of different restaurants close by. Very convenient to center walking zone in the city. Would stay there again.

Lovely place

It was a lovely stay. I wish the pillows were slightly more comfortable. Either than that it was a good experience. Welcoming and super helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Have no other concerns.

The hotel was a little hard to find and we were assigned a loft in a separate location. The loft was clean and very modern. The bed was terrible! So bad that I slept on a sofa bench the second night. The area is really fun but remember that shops in Oldenburg are closed on Sundays. The staff were very friendly.

Nice rooms that are walking distance to the main train station and in an old town of attractive and interesting shopping cobble stone streets with many smaller stores, good prices and shops to eat in as well. This area is walking and cycling only, no cars.

Awesome breakfast

This hotel had the most awesome breakfast spread. Staff are friendly and helpful although sometimes you might have to wait a bit downstairs at the reception coz usually there is only one person.

Bit quirky but nice

Bit strange as some rooms were outside the hotel and down a street between shops and hard to find. There is no parking as its in a high street and the multi-story is a short walk but a pain if you have lots of bags. There was also no concesion from the hotel so you pay a daily rate which can be quite expensive
