North side rooms are a cold as the far sufe of the moon. Had to change rooms twice, rm #1 cold, broken thermostat. Room # 2, no thermostat at all it was missing, no shower curtain, toliet would not flush. Nice hotel but fallen into disrepair, carpet filthy, held together with duct tape.

Approach with caution

*not an incentivized review* Okay, so when you check into a hotel and they put you on the 2nd floor, but then advise you to pay no mind to the damaged doors you'll see on your walk to your room from a fire a few years ago... What! We walked through a decent looking lobby, up a decent looking elevator, onto the 2nd floor, AKA the dirty lil secret of the red Lion. The only thing worse in the hallway than the randomly patched up doors, was the grossest carpet I've ever seen in my life, being held to the floor by off brand duct tape and years of filth. It was a ripped, wrinkly, tripping hazard that will make you need a tetanus booster should you fall into it. The room itself was okay; like a fun little time capsule from 1995, including the manufacture date on the appliances and mattresses. The coffee maker didn't even try, the bean water was a cold, sad cup of despair. The HVAC didn't work properly, the room was freezing all night long. Probably would not recommend this place unless you're desperate, or paying by the hour. Also, be advised that the breakfast is an ADDITIONAL $7 per person, which is probably not worth it since they've honestly struggled with basic maintenance and upkeep.

Run down and poor conditions.

Grungy and smelly. Air conditioner in first two rooms were broke. Third room was an upgrade to different wing of property. Air conditioner worked however the bathroom had mold in grout in tile. Water would run dark brown for the first couple seconds. Smelt like mud and rust. Manager told me at checkout they are aware and doing their best. Would not recommend.

Overall the property was clean, but there where quite a few out of order signs hung up on veriouv equipment. The thermostat in my room was broken and the fans didn't work all that well either. Also the bathtub needed to be scrubbed badly as it was yellow with soap scum. The showerhead also had really bad water pressure. Other than that the room was clean. Bed was comfortable but only had one thin blanket with a stain on it. ofordersigns

The location was great, it is an older hotel but it was good to stay in. the breakfast was good as well, it was more than a continental breakfast so was good to get going for the day!

Floor at the entrance to the lobby was dirty, as was the lift. The carpet in the corridor was in a terrible condition and had gaffer tape in many places holding it together. The room was pretty tired with signs of wear. The floor of the balcony was dirty and there was nothing to sit on. However, the bed linen was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby itself was very inviting with comfortable seating. There was a pc and printer available for guests to use. I didn’t use the gym or pool so am unable to comment. Overall
