Staff super helpful with luggage and taxis and so on. The housekeepers change the towels and sheets every day, even if not requested using the environmental measures card, so perhaps that could be a small thing with room for improvement.

It's a clean and quiet functional hotel, less than 10 minutes from the train station and also Piazza Maggiore. So would stay there again for local visiting the city

Great location close to the train station and old town. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, and breakfast was excellent. The property is well maintained, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We visited this hotel while the outside corridor was under construction which made it a challenge to get to the hotel. That said, the rooms were pleasant and it's within walking distance to the main palazzo with food and drink. On-site we wished the 'bar' had a better set-up and was more comfortable to sit at.

This hotel is in a fantastic location but because of the construction work for the new tram system you are in the middle of a construction site, so it is noisy and dusty during the day. Also the main attraction of this location, i.e. the collonades are just hot noisy crowded tunnels which defeat the object of their purpose, such a shame !

A soft place to rest your head

Since travelling quite a bit around northern Italy and enjoying the many sights, I must say that this hotel was superb. A real respite from so much walking and walking. Cool comfortable sheets and fluffy pillows. A sigh of relief after a v long day.

Great hotel in ideal location, midway between the train station and city centre in Bologna. (5-10 minutes walk either way). The breakfast was good with plenty of selection, so couldn’t really fault. Only negative was the lack of drinks service in the terrace and the drinks being a bit pricey, but that’s hotel pricing.

Overall this was a very nice hotel and we had a pleasant stay. Every staff member that we spoke to was very nice and helpful with any question that we had. They all spoke very good English and were polite with my terrible Italian. :) Raquela at the front tlesk in the mornings had AMAZING restaurant recommendations. Marissa, at the front desk in the evenings, was not only nice and helpful but also remembered my wife and I by name after only one day. While the first room we received had an air conditioning unit that did not work and needed some repairs, the staff was quick to send someone to check it out and then quick to give us a different room. I will personally plan to stay here on my next visit to Bologna.

The hotel is rated a 4 star but our experience there did not indicate that. Extremely outdated, carpet in terrible shape, bathroom fixtures rotting, dirty walls, broken elevator button, etc... Plus noisy construction immediately outside hotel. Unable to speak to manager to address my concerns. Manager would not come out to speak to us. Do not recommend!!!

Hotel very nice. Bed was King sized and comfy. About a 15 minute walk from the train station. We did not do the breakfast so I can not comment on that. They let us store our bags before and after check out, which was very convenient. Checking was very easily and efficient. The only complaint I had was the lack of water pressure in our shower. The sink’s pressure was fine but in the shower the water came out in little drops.
