We’ve stayed here a couple of times and love the property - the room is spotless clean, staff is friendly and helpful, pool water is very warm which is great if you are traveling with kids. Breakfast is good too. There’s easy access to the highway (I-90 takes you to downtown Boston in 20 minutes) and Waltham restaurants and downtown is 10 min drive. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Boston.

Room Condition

Our original room was not up to par. There was a stain I was able to wipe off on the sheets, as well as significant staining on the mattress. Fortunately the Manager at this hotel was amazing. He switched rooms for us without hesitation and even upgraded our room. I want to point out that the front desk staff were also great and very friendly. Our second room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Their breakfast selections were very good.Thankfully because of the manager we will stay at Hampton Inn again

The guests in the room above mine were stomping around all night. I HAVE never stayed in a hotel where loud guests kept me up much of the night. How could it have been so noisy one floor above. When we stayed here this past weekend. There were ants in the room. We did not eat in there or have any food so they were there prior to our arrival. When I bought this up to the front desk they just kept telling me they would bring this up to management, who would be in on Monday (this was Saturday evening). There was no remediation, no discount, no room change, no pest control. We couldn’t properly enjoy the visit there because the room was infested with ants. It’s currently Thursday and management still hasn’t reached out to me. Room 153.

Hampton Inn and Suites Boston/Waltham was clean and convenient. A nice breakfast is offered in the morning. My only complaint was the barn-style door for the bathroom. It really doesn't help with privacy when sharing a room. Also, there weren't restaurants or businesses in walking distance. But everything else was great!

Parking was tight and they called me after we were in bed to move my car although there were other open spots in the lot. (They did not like how the car was parked - over the line- which I did to accommodate the vehicle next to me. That vehicle was on the line so I parked to leave them room be able to open their door.) I asked for a late check out if possible. I needed to be in the area all day while my daughter took an exam. The gentleman told me that checkout was at noon, but I could have until 1230. Then at 11 am the TV and Wi-Fi went out flashing a message that checkout was in process. The refrigerator had a horrible smell. And in the same vein, the breakfast room didn’t smell so great either. In the morning several people were coming down and arguing with and/or complaining to the desk staff. I’m guessing I wasn’t the only one who was unhappy last night.
