Lots great- comfortable beds, super parking, location, friendly staff. Noisy outside thrum all night long not great, toilet area quite small, hot water from sink took very long. Doors slam shut for each room so noisy some nights quite late when guests return.

Room was just OK… No microwave, no fridge. I know this is supposed to be a Heritage hotel, but they could make it a little more comfortable…the bathroom so very tiny…one person could barely fit in there. Probably won’t stay here again for the price.

First time in Salem… super cool place to visit! This is a wonderful historic hotel… great location, walking distance to everything, free parking is on site behind the building. The room and bathroom are small but both very clean. The hotel’s Tavern was great for a late night dinner and drink after a ghost tour, especially because most places close early on a Monday night.

Beautiful hotel. Very kid-friendly, our kids found it very fancy, but very friendly. The staff was so nice. All the food was really good (simple and well-prepared enough for picky eaters) and well-priced, I thought. The location was the best aspect, right across the way from the Salem Witch Museum and also the big park as well as all the shops; very picturesque. We don’t usually spring for a pricier hotel, but this was worthwhile!

We loved our stay at the Hawthorne. Staff were very friendly making our check in and out super quick. The room was spacious and clean. This hotel is in a great location where you can park at the hotel and walk everywhere during your stay. I would recommend staying at this hotel for the location, cleanliness and most of all, how unique and beautiful the hotel and rooms are!

The hotel has a great location, walkable to many attractions. The service is excellent, but there is a bad smell when you enter, also there was a bug crawling on the toilet in the bathroom, which made my stay uncomfortable. I still give 4 stars as its location and service are both perfect.

An older, but nice hotel, although a bit creepy. Lots of creeks & strange noises throughout the night. There are rumors of it being one of the most haunted hotels in the US (3rd & 6th floors). The hallway has a The Shining type feel. No fridge in room & bathroom is very small.
