Valet was simply mean and rude. Then when I checking in the man working the desk was extremely rude. Whining to his peer about how busy they were. I tried to be cordial and just make a comment about it being crazy in the check in area and that the valet area was busy and then the man said “well it’s busy and everywhere else is sold out”. Both people made it so I have no desire to return and I will be reaching out to Hyatt Corporate Office. I paid over 350.00 for one night and it is incredulous that people are allowed to be so unprofessional.

Only really had interaction with the staff in the evening. The were extremely friendly and helpful. Had a few drinks in the evenings at the bar and enjoyed the bartender. She was also very friendly.

Very sad and disappointed stay

Staff never cleaned room for duration of stay, even when requested still was met with a dirty room upon returining from site seeing. Shower had cold water for most of the stay and had to literaly run the faucet on cold water to allow it to warm up. Shower head was old and displayed no pressure. Really had high hopes for this hotel but was very disappointed as me and my wife rarely get to travel and when we finaly were able to this is what we were met with.

The location was excellent but what was offered for the extremely high price point wasn't worth the price. In other words, we felt like this property was a poor value. We stayed here one night in advance of a cruise leaving out of the cruise port, which is just down the street. The location just couldn't be any better. However, we had booked a specialty King with a kitchenette which we assumed would come with a range, an oven, a full sized refrigerator and plates and utensils in the drawers and cabinets. What it actually came equipped with was a dorm fridge, a microwave and a sink, which isn't any different that the regular set up in other Hyatt Places I have stayed at. In terms of the plates and utensils, it came with none, and we were simply provided with an ice bucket and two drinking glasses. That's it. I am not sure how this was any different than a regular mini studio suite. Also, there were zero bathroom amenities. Most places would provide vanity kits, body lotion and etc. This place provided almost nothing beyond facial tissues. Breakfast was also a disappointment. We have enjoyed good, solid breakfast offerings at other Hyatt properties, but there was very little offered for breakfast at this place. Overall, the price point was way too high and the hotel felt very stingy, and it wasn't a good feeling. We wouldn't stay here again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to other travelers.
