I usually love staying at this hotel as I visit Quincy quite often. It used to be a really nice place to stay. However this time was absolutely terrible. First upon check in I learned that they have put the price of their parking up to $18 which is crazy for this location. Then there was a group of at least 100 children in the lobby when I checked in, hardly the hotels fault, but because the man checking me in was clearly annoyed at their screaming he essentially did the entire process without saying words to me. In fact, I think the only thing he said was the price of the parking. The room was fine as always, although it did look like the bed was made in a big rush as the sheets were all over the place. Then for breakfast I find out it is $26 for what is essentially the most pathetic buffet you can imagine. On top of that it took the staff 10 minutes to even acknowledge that several of us were waiting to be seated. The meal and service was so embarrassing that the waitress reduced the cost for me without me having to say, which was nice, but goes to show that even they knew it was a bad experience. Just really disappointing that my once favorite hotel in the Quincy area has been reduced to this. Public restroom toilet seats worn out and cracking, front revolving door was broken, unfriendly staff. I will most likely have to find a new place to stay when returning.
