We came for a city break so wanted a small list of important things from our hotel: comfort, great location and friendly staff. The Godfrey had all three. Lovely bonus to be greeted every day by the friendly door staff.

My second time and just as nice as the first. Only one complaint (which I had with my first visit).The hallway to the rooms is long and windy and, as a female lone traveler,it makes “my antenna go up”. Just eerie. Ask for a room near the elevator if this would bother you too. Otherwise no complaints!

Great central hotel

The staff are very accommodating and professional. They even helped us relocate to a quieter room to make our cat more comfortable. The breakfast at George Howell in the lobby is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The valet parking was very convenient and well organized. We would stay there again.

It was our first time and we loved it. Room was clean, staff very helpful and kind. Convenient distance to all we had to do. The only downside is that we had a room facing the exterior and my son and I had a hard time sleeping at night when the bar scene came to life. We felt the music in our room, people shouting, police, ambulance, we heard it all from the fifth floor. The hotel did offer to swap our room but at that point we had a night to stay and we decided to keep our room instead of moving. Being located near all these bars is clearly out of the hotel’s staff’s hands and therefore we are giving it a 5 on 5 for everything else. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back.
