Bathroom great! Bed/pillows were miserable

Accommodations were very nice. The snacks and water in the room were very welcomed. Bathroom was very clean and updated. Only part I didn’t like was the bed….very uncomfortable and the feather pillows were useless. My head would sink down to nothingness and I had no support. I was also cold. The only bed cover was a sheet and a very thin duvet. I did not sleep well at all for the two nights I was there 🙁

This Hotel I think is the best place to stay for people looking for accessibility and comfort. Very near to Orange and Red line.. Close to the malls and restaurants. Aside from the exemplary service and accomodating attitude of all the staff from the concierge, bartender and housekeeping. All are excellent and professional with their job! Had a wonderful stay and will definitely comeback with friends and family.. The only thing I can say that can be improve is the availability of small fridge.. but they do have ice machine to compensate for that :) Thank you Godfrey! see you next time :)

Not Worth the Price – Disappointed by Comfort and Flexibility I stayed at The Godfrey Hotel Boston recently and left feeling let down by the overall value. For the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard—especially when it came to the bed. Unfortunately, the mattress was so uncomfortable it aggravated my back, leaving me with persistent aches throughout the trip. If you have any history of back pain, this setup could be a dealbreaker. The staff were warm and courteous, and they did grant me a late checkout, which I appreciated. However, when I requested a refund so I could switch to a better room at another hotel, they flatly refused. That lack of flexibility was disappointing, especially given the discomfort I experienced. One major tip: avoid booking through Expedia. While convenient, it significantly limits your options and leverage if things go wrong. In my case, it meant sacrificing quality and control over the experience. The hotel’s location and design are appealing, but comfort and responsiveness matter more. I wouldn’t stay again unless they make serious improvements to room quality and guest support.
