Negatives were expensive parking rates and late noisy kids in their rooms and hallways. Not sure they were even with adult supervision close by. Otherwise, we loved the place.

The hotel was so much fun - the 70's music theme was great, and I loved the record player in my room, with access to a wide variety of 70's LPs (in my room and in the lobby). Breakfast was excellent - a good choice of take out (or sit at the tables) food - so hygienic to have staff handling the peeled boiled eggs, slicing them if required, toasting 3 types of bread, making waffles if requested, and the pastries were delicious and so fresh. Valet service was wonderful - kudos to Cisco and Keya who were so friendly and helpful at all times. Loved my stay here and look forward to returning!

Hidden fees and over priced

Very over priced and overrated! There is an unexpected, unadvertised “amenities” fee which is basically a continental breakfast that consists of waffles and fruit. I’ve stayed at a lot of places this one is definitely not worth the cost. They essentially push a concept/decor which still isn’t worth the cost.

the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property was in a perfect location that was walkable to Fenway Park and bars and restaurants. The rooms were great and had a record player that you could play vinyl records with a high quality speaker amp. Would 100% recommend and will be staying here every time I visit Boston.

The Verb in Boston

We really enjoyed the authentic earnestness of this Rock n Roll themed hotel. They have done a great job exhibiting the memorobilia they have collected in public spaces and guest rooms. The vinyl turntable in each room is a nice touch. The only disappointment was the Japanese food served in the Hojoko Restaurant. The name itself a riff that the property was a Howard Johnson Motel in the past. However, the breakfast and American food served there seemed fine.
Box Saggs "Silk Degrees" album was on the turntable when we arrived in our room.
The inside door of the bathroom has this great detail of photographer at a 20th Century rock concert. They are looking at you.
