We stayed at Il Verreno for our anniversary at the start of July and it was absolutely stunning! So beautiful and peaceful, the room was lovely (we had a suite) and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We especially enjoyed eating at the Restaurant- the food was amazing! I'd highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful retreat and also to have a car so that you can also visit the neigbouring towns (we took advantage of day trips to Sienna and Florence). Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back again soon!

Tuscan villa dream

Such an amazing hotel. Beautiful location. We had a 2 bed suite as it was a last minute booking and was only option. WOW. Absolute gorgeous. Had own kitchen area. 2 huge bedrooms with en suite's. The pool area was compact but the views! The restaurant was incredibly. The quality and presentation 10/10. Ricardo and his team looked after us both nights we were there and they were excellent. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Go!

There could be better walking paths from park I g lot to your rooms so you can pull your suitcases. The steep hill to parking lot with luggage isn’t great. As well better breakfast options. The dining menu is absolutely fantastic and the scenery is fabulous. Staff go above and beyond regardless of the time of day. 👏👏👏

Hidden Gem in secluded location

Nothing but wonderful things to say. Stunning views, great facilities and fantastic onsite restaurant. Staff went above and beyond for 5 star service. Comfortable rooms, gorgeous linens and great beds. The whole villa has been extensively modernized and renovated. You are out in the country but Siena is 35 minutes away, Florence 1 hr and plenty of things to see. Breakfast was delicious and huge variety. Cannot wait to return. Wifi was a little iffy and inconsistent but with the views and scenery you soon forgot.

Beautiful spot and people

This hotel is a hidden gem with breathtaking views from every window. Our stay included a scrumptious breakfast with cooked to order eggs. Francesca was our hostess. She couldn’t do enough for us. She was so gracious seeing to our every need. The restaurant on the premises was the best we’ve had in a Italy and we have eaten at Michelin star. I’m am sure there is a Michelin star in Cucina Donnaluisa’s future!

Amazing stay in Tuscany

Amazing property, the grounds and rooms exactly like the pictures. The food offerings are top class, with the restaurant serving the best pasta we had on this particular Italian getaway. Would definitely stay here again. One point to note is that the pool can get busy when the villa is fully booked. There is no service by the pool but of course the staff are always around the restaurant area if you need something.

The best kept secret

If you are looking for an exquisite, friendly, quiet beautiful place in Tuscany then do not look any further than here. We had an amazing experience from the hospitality of Silvia, to the chef Maria and sue chef Keoma and Marco the waiters. You will not have any regrets. The food itself is an art form. The flavors are decadent and on point. The wines are from the region with no disappointments. I would return again without any reservations. Extremely good villa with good taste

Extremely good villa. They offer more than you pay compared with many villas in Tuscany. You can tell the owner sets a high-quality taste for the villa and she pays great attention on every details. Everything, like the room, the service, the food is perfectly well done. I live in Milan and sometimes go out for a short trip. This villa provides the best & friendly service by far I've ever visited in Italy. Silvia seems like offering a personal butler service (very much appreciated). Their restaurant ( Cucina Donnaluisa) , OMG, by far from your expectation. It is up to the Michelin level at a very reasonable price. You would not expect something up to that high level in the countryside! I think the management of this villa is a bit crazy. They only offer the best, either not to do it or do it FULL ON. We enjoyed our stay, thank you very much!

An amazing place! Friendly staff, personalized service, fantastic meals cooked by the best chefs in italy, and the perfect place to relax and as a base for excursions in the area.
