yes room was fine , little untidy.instructions to self park could be clearer. SOMEONEwas having sex in a car at 10 at night in parking garage 2nd level by by elevator and my family had to see it,(shocking and disturbing).SOUTH TOWER WREAKS OF SMOKE. Overall fair quiet stay.

Everything seemed closed as it was week day we stayed … no room service except on weekends. Hotels only really functional on the weekends. Room was a refurbished one in North Tower. No view. Bathroom was sorta wonky in layout. Bed was king sized and fairly uncomfortable. If I had paid full price I would have been back down in the front desk raising hell but for $40 bucks plus resort fee, tourist tax, etc it was ok. Lots of work being done though to renew the dated flavor of the trop in general. Best part was bird watching on the boardwalk and the absolutely incredible sunset we got to experience. Oh and I Couldn’t believe how much security they had. Crazy! FYI ALSO. Had to pay to self park! On top of everything else.

I asked for a non smoking, got a smoking room then was told it was non smoking, but mentioned a ash tray in the room and they said “oh it is a smoking room” mind you they charge more for a smoking room. Entering the bathroom, long pieces of someone else’s hair was in the shower. I just couldn’t get over the overbearing cigarette smell. Oh and let’s talk VALET. They are HELL !

The customer service, we forgot a whole bag there with our wallet and everything was in it and security was able to keep it safe ! So we truly appreciate the team work that was put into keeping our belongings safe!
