Location is great. Walkable distance to a lot of sites. It's in the Jewish quarter. It's in a rather dirty, dusty but still stunning architectural area. Metro station is 5min away. Property has character, some stunning features and a lot of history and an amazing facade. The air con was so old/weak- it was a torture as the weather was 30/ above 30 Celsius. The same air con situation in the restaurant and lobby. The rooms were clean but not shiny clean. The shower gel was dispensing tiny drops. No spoon in the room. Even though the check in clerk was very pleasant there was no information- what's where, what's included, opening times, directions. Got the key and that's it.The hotel claims 4 stars and sells it's stunning architecture, features and history but then it lacks. It's average once you're in your room and there is none of that extra touch. Shame to write this- but wouldn't return.

Very nice hotel. We upgraded to the "Executive Double Room". Nice large space with sitting area and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast included (if you took that option) with a wide array of options and a large eating area/tables including some outdoor. Most of the attractions we wanted to visit were a 10-20 minute walk away. For those further attractions, I highly recommend Uber rather than the taxis as I know we got gouged on a taxi trip (our one and only). My only issue with this room is the ridiculous bathroom layout/design. A few points: shower doors don't open completely and one of them can't because the toilet is in the way; the toilet paper rolls are located so that you can't really contort enough to access it while seated; the shower doors do not seal well at all no matter what we tried so the bathroom floor is always wet after a shower; the bathroom door stop (attached to the floor) is just outside the shower so if you are not paying attentiion, you will most certainly step on it at least once (until you learn the hard way). Whoever designed the bathroom space needs to go back to school. Otherwise, it is a nice welcoming place to stay.

I thought the quality of service, promptness, breakfast food and neatness were quite up to mark. Location of the hotel is also quite good as it is accessible to the metro, tram station n buses. Definitely recommended

Large hotel with rooftop pools 9 to 21. Nice bar but unfortunately kitchen closes at 22. Hotel revolving wood door in heavy, not for elderly persons to open.
