* You can take a short walk to the grassy bank to sit at a picnic table or put in inner tubes. Please be understanding that sometimes there may be washed up logs and debris against the shoreline, depending on the water level. If you are looking for a boat ramp, instead, you have some options. There are three nearby options for taking a boat on the Lake. Two of these are a short drive and have parking and the other one is nearby but does not have parking. Here is the list. 1) Lary R Gale Access is 7 miles away and has a large boat ramp with free truck and trailer parking at the boat ramp. 2.) Linn Creek Boat Ramp is 8.7 miles away and has ample truck and trailer parking for $10 a day and $5 a day if you are just parking a truck. This is my favorite boat ramp and the short drive there is scenic. There is a drop box to leave the money. 3.) Last but not least, there is a community boat ramp that is a little over a block from the house. Most people choose the other boat ramps because there is no truck or trailer parking at the local community ramp, so you will need to drive your truck and trailer back to the house to park your truck and trailer, then walk down to your boat. Although, there is plenty of parking at the house for your boat and trailer, after a day of fishing. Also, the docks at this community boat ramp are private boat slips, owned by the locals so please don't tie your boat at these. It will need to be taken out as you leave the lake.
*Enjoy privacy and quietness on the deck or around the firepit, but be mindful and check to make sure that a burn ban is not in effect. After a day of fun, relax on the deck or, walk down to the community park, grassy area and sit at the picnic table and enjoy the lake view or venture out for more fun! Never a dull moment!
