We had to change rooms because our first room Which was a paid for ocean view, we could only see the main garden area. On top of that the room smelled of a combination of must, mold, and mildew. The second room was much better even though the AC did not appear fully functional. The room cleaning staff also did the bare minimum work they could have.

This was our 1st time at the Dream Jade. The facilities were nice, the food was very good, the staff was amazing. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and my B-Day, and they made us feel welcomed and appreciated.

I would say overall the resort is well maintained. Rooms and other facilities are good. Entertainment team was doing a great job.. House keeper was ok as they do not have a consistent standard of service the room. Most staff are well trained and friendly Except one. I would recommend that Food and Beverage department needs more improvement. Just a Day before we check out, our family of 7 were lined up for 45-50 minutes for the Italian restaurant for our last dinner. The hostess was really rude as she said we did not wear proper shoes. We all have close toe shoes which I believe it’s a common practice for the resort dinner restaurant as the dress code. As we were talking, two other guests with sandals were walking out of the restaurant. I invited her to see it and she got really mad afterwards and told us to go away as we did not meet the hotel policies. WOW, we were speechless and didn’t even expect that type of behaviour from a 5 star hotel staff. I went to file a complaint and talked to her line manager but he didn’t do anything. I don’t quite understand that this resort close some of their restaurants for dinner. There are 6 restaurants in the resort but typically we can only have 3-4 open. Overall, not a great experience but I would say most staff works really hard to make us enjoy our vacation.

Do not book!! The resort rooms are falling apart. The pictures are photoshopped or AI generated. The beach is hideous and covered in seaweed. The staff (Roberto) lied. We booked king oceanfront preferred. The ceiling had a shady patch over a leak and the drywall was falling from the ceiling along with liquids. Plaster falling from many ceilings onto balcony tubs that could be seen by all on their balcony. They moved us to a double bed room that wasn’t leaking. Said they would compensate us for room difference but did not-Roberto. Pool bar closed before 5. Mexican restaurant was delicious. The lunch buffet was not although we did arrive late in the afternoon. My father died my first morning there. Upon immediate check out was told we’d be reimbursed for our stay, never happened after two messages to hotel and their only reply was they were sticking to their policy of no refunds even though I didn’t ask for one, they offered it! The day after my dad died and I was grieving with family, a staff member kept calling to rate my stay. Not a good time, clearly they lacked communication. The only nice parts were the central lounge area and front patio for smokers. The construction in the rooms is so outdated. I’d rate this a one to two star hotel. Went with two other couples who have never had such a sad resort when staying with dreams. One couple’s ocean front room reeked as if something died in it I’ve been to Mexico resorts four times and this was the only bad one. Buyer beware!

The hotel is excellent as are all the staff who genuinely seem to try their best to make your stay the best it could be. Would recommend the preferred option as this gives you access to a private bar area and pool area which is quite calm and less crowded. The preferred rooms also give you ocean front rooms and even a whole full suite which is fantastic. We loved our week in this suite.

At 6am, i called for our Room Service ORDER of COFFEE, so my husband and I could sit out on Balcony to enjoy the SUNRISE while drinking our coffee, and even Tho i'd requested TWICE 'Lots of cream for the Coffee-bcuz my husband and i BOTH like 'LOTS OF CREAM', and the 'order taker' REPEATED my Request TWICE!, It took a LONG 45 mins! For JUST A POT OF COFFEE to BE DELIVERED! AND Not only was there NO SUGAR Nor SPOONS PROVIDED TO STIR OUR COFFEE but The Room Service Attendant had ALSO NEGLECTED TO BRING THE CREAM WE'D REQUESTED!! So! A FULL POT OF PURE BLACK COFFEE was Wasted/ since WE did NOT DRINK IT!

Overall it was an alright stay. Property is kind of outdated. Needs a better variety at the buffet. It is the same foods each day. Would like if there was more entertainment and more places with TV's as there is only one sports bar on Resort. Dining Options are good but the Hibachi place was closed the whole time we were there. Room service could be better as well. This resort is good if you are booking last minute. Angel was an excellent server by the pool.

Getting There The trip from the airport to Puerto Morelos was full of surprises. I’ve been visiting Mexico almost every year since 1995, and this was the first time I’ve seen Route 307 in such poor condition. Vegetation was overgrown above eye level, the road had numerous potholes, many lane markings were faded or missing, and several signs were either damaged or incomplete, showing only partial directions. Upon arrival in Puerto Morelos, we encountered even more potholes and narrow, uneven streets. Parking Valet services were our only option — not ideal, especially since our room was located very close to the parking lot. The staff required us to leave the car keys with the valet attendants, which proved inconvenient; one day, it took about 20 minutes just to retrieve our car. Restaurants The resort offers several good dining options, we loved the Mediterranean and Japanese. The cafeteria also had a wide and satisfying selection of dishes. Facilities The property itself is very attractive and well maintained. Beach The beach was comfortable and equipped with plenty of palapas for shade. However, during our stay, sargassum was a major and persistent issue despite the continuous efforts of the staff to keep the area clean. Pools There are two beautiful pools, both featuring swim-up bars. They were consistently clean and inviting. People we would like to recognize Jose, Davi, Nora, Synthia e Miguel (restaurants), Alfredo e Elder(bar), Diana (breakfast grill)

We love the staff most of all. Lourdes, Edwin, Jesus, Emiliano, Jonathan and Raul in the breakfast time are all wonderful. They just make our vacation every time. We can’t wait to go back soon.

The property is just as pictured. Staff were always very professional and polite. I upgraded and was able to experience the lounge amenities but did not receive the upgrade items to my room and had to ask for them several times then I received them on the last night and was not able to enjoy them.
