Fire / emergency obstructed hallway.

Cairns is a fun place and the hotel is in a great location. My biggest problem was the cleaning staff left bags and large carts in the halls all day long and room Service items making a safety factor if an emergency Arrived.

Spoil yourself in Cairns

This is a beautiful resort on the waterfront in Cairns. The beds and bedding are extremely comfortable. The room is in good condition. The landscaping and pool area are very well maintained. Poolside meals and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced.

This hotel is in a great location, close to everything, the marina, night markets, the esplanade. It’s a bit dated, but the staff are doing their best to offset this by being very attentive and accommodating. I especially enjoy the pool, it may be the largest around Cairns and it never seems crowded. My favourite hotel in this place.

Run down badly in areas. Room not cleaned or bed changed on my last day. I was out from 07:30 until 6pm on the barrier reef trip and when I came back in very disappointed to see my room hadn’t been cleaned. The hotel needs a lick of paint badly.

This hotel is very well situated - easy walking to the Cairns marina, esplanade and various top restaurants. Our marina executive room had a wonderful view of the marina and mountains beyond. Walking to the city centre is also easy. Our room was well serviced by staff who were very non intrusive. The facilities are very clean. Updating the t.v. to a smart t.v. to allow access to streaming channels would be a plus.The pool is in a lovely setting, but some form of water heating would make swimming in the pool in August more inviting. Overall though a lovely place to stay.
