My family and I stayed at Moon Palace Sunrise for 5 days and did not go into the pool once. The pool was so filthy and there was brown and black build up all alongside the edges of the pool. Buffet was ok - nothing to rave about. We spent most of our time at Nuzuc and The Grand. Food was much better and pools were cleaner. It was nice that we had access to the sister resorts because Sunrise was not cutting it. The staff was kind, but the desk people were very impatient explaining things to us. My family members do have an accent so it was hard to understand them but that doesn’t mean they had to be rude. Whenever we spoke in our language (Vietnamese) to explain and discuss things to each other, multiple workers told us not to and to only speak English. I would not stay here again or recommend it. If you want to stay at a moon palace resort, I’d recommend paying extra to stay at The Grand.

Small rooms and huge unnecessary tub in the middle of the room that occupies at least 20%of the space with no couch to sit on roaches in the building entrance food is average at its best! And no swimming or sitting on the beach? What’s the point for ocean front property?

Overall, the stay was okay, but as an all-inclusive resort, we expected more in terms of amenities. The pool options were limited, and the food was average at best. The resort credits offered were underwhelming due to the limited variety and excessive restrictions. We were at the resort for a wedding, and while it was a special occasion, the experience did not meet expectations considering the amount of money spent. The beach wedding venue remained open to other guests, allowing people to walk through during the ceremony instead of being properly blocked off. The décor was just okay, and when we raised concerns or asked the wedding planner to address them, our feedback was ignored. The wedding ceremony ended earlier than expected, but staff did not accommodate starting the cocktail hour a bit sooner, even though they were present and available. This lack of flexibility was disappointing. Additionally, we paid for transfer transportation, but for the return trip, we were left without any reminder or notice about the early pickup time. This resulted in a missed transfer, and there was no effort from the resort to assist with a refund or offer a reasonable solution. We had to spend more money out of pocket, which added unnecessary stress. For a resort that promotes a premium, all-inclusive experience, there are several areas that need serious improvement especially in guest service, event coordination, and follow-through on what is promised.

They mislead us by saying presentation but actually they were try to sell us their packages. They wanted next time we should book directly with them. There were so many sales persons try to sell out their packages throughout our vacations. They waste our 4-5hrs. Nothing was good which we can buy with Resort credit $500. West jet’s experience was worst, they gave all of us different seats to sit. Their staff was good. But we were sitting very apart from each other.

Long wait for transport to and from the lobby. Mosquitoes get really bad after dark. The worst part was the presentation—over 3 hours with 4 different agents pressuring us to buy a membership (basically a timeshare). Don’t fall for it.
