We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and my birthday. The location was super convenient—only a short drive from the airport, which worked great since we had an early flight home. Staff were friendly and courteous, which made a good impression. There were a few downsides though. I wish there had been more activities or things to do around the resort. The elevator was slow and made some cracking noises, and our room’s air conditioning made a loud sound all night. We reported it after the first night—someone came to check it, but unfortunately, nothing really improved. On the plus side, the food wasn’t bad at all. I really enjoyed breakfast each morning, and the sushi restaurant was a highlight for me. The guys at the swim-up bar were also pretty great—friendly and patient most of the time. Overall, it was a good trip with a few minor issues, but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Óleo has a stunning beautiful beach. Óleo is the perfect small getaway vacation if you’re looking for a 3 to 4 days considering how small the property is. The food was above average, where some dishes do stand out. This is truly a place you want to go if you want to do absolutely nothing. My partner and I loved it. Now I will say kids are allowed so it can be little loud due to that. For the price I was happy with my stay and will be coming back!

The area was good, and the staff were fairly accommodating! We booked a balcony room and they told us there wasn’t one available. We asked for a refund for the difference (room without a balcony is cheaper) and they said it was a “minimal difference”. Online photos & descriptions almost felt deceptive - they made this resort seem twice as large as it actually was. There’s minimal entertainment, and 2 of the 3 restaurants are only open between 5-10 pm ish. It makes breakfast and lunch extremely limited; especially in the hour timeframe between 11:30-12:30 where nothing is open. Food at the buffet was mediocre - there were lots of dishes we weren’t sure how they could be messed up, but they were. Soups were usually pretty good, and breakfast options were pretty solid (except for their breakfast sausage). Lunch and dinner at the buffet left a lot to be desired aside from that. The staff at the area for pool towel exchanges tried to keep our towels multiple times, without returning our “towel cards”. They’d tell us to go to the front desk, where we were told a $25/each charge would apply every time we “lost” a towel. It seemed like a pretty obvious cash grab, which is unfortunate. My favorite night was “Mexican Night”! They had local vendors set up stalls outside of the dining areas, hosted an incredible mariachi band, and served some of the best food the entire trip! I wish all of their food was prepared similarly/with the same quality.

The staff at Oleo were exceptionally friendly, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. While the hotel showed some signs of wear and tear, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. The food was fantastic, and I especially enjoyed the breakfast omelette each morning. The spa provided a truly relaxing escape. Overall, I would stay there again.

The staff were friendly and flexible. My room had an obstructed lagoon view with strong cooking smell every afternoon. I could barely step to the balcony even though there was extra charge for the view. The gym is not well equipped and maintained. The service in Hakka restaurant was very slow. The waiter forgot about our orders twice. The foods in Brownbag shelf was stale and got my child vomit and sick for 2 days.

Great spot to get to quickly being 15 minutes from the airport. Low-key and relaxed, very minimal but comfortabl. Staff was great and made it a very easy trip never waiting on anything.
