Do not ever book with this hotel the food was I don’t even know how to describe it. My husband got food poisoning and the staff is so unfriendly. I even asked to pay extra for an ocean view room was told no didn’t even look. Got laughed at. Thus hotel was so bad I checked out 5 days early snd went to a much better resort. Do not ever book

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and were not able to get into any of the “5” restaurants for dinner so we had the buffet and the food was OK, but the dining room was very warm with no air circulation. That evening there was no entertainment except in a small room in basement with hardly any seating, not to mention it was all in Spanish . The next night was my birthday and once again no reservations available. Come to find out, ONLY TWO OF THE FIVE RESTAURANTS ARE OPEN EACH NIGHT. Also discovered that they were short staffed for cooks to provide reservations to a lot of people. Our third and last evening we tried to get a reservation and was told to check back with concierge at 4 pm, and at that time were told NO reservations available. This was very unsatisfactory considering how much we paid. The service was terrible in the buffet area and also the outside restaurant. No one acknowledged for drinks, refills etc., and the food at outside restaurant took more than 20 minutes each time we ordered, with the exception of the last morning when I ordered a plain bagel and it never arrived until we were walking out the door. The room was decent except the bedding was stained (comforter) and there was mold growing in the bathroom. Unfortunately, We will not be visiting this resort again. However, the beach was beautiful

Sandos Cancun. This hotel needs some remodeling, some electrical issues fixed and a whole revamp of their menus. My room had 2 bdrs and 1 of the bedrooms stayed hot thecwhole time we were there. Maintenace had to be called, the lights flickerng, and the tv stop working.

Resort was very quiet with no fun activities. Even the night shows were not very interesting and the venue was very small so not very inviting. All the restaurants were some how booked even before we got there. We couldn’t do any reservations we were stuck with the buffet only which was not that great. No swim up bar at and adult resort is pretty lame.

Very clean, housekeeping does an excellent job, those ladies are very nice and friendly. The place is nice swimming pools are clean and very well maintained. I like the activities around the swimming pools. Give you a good cheerful mood. My only concern is the staff in the restaurant, they kind of slack in service. The only one the truly make you feel welcome is Freddy, he’s the BEST!! Concierge, Avril. Was very nice also and the bellboy on my day of check out. I don’t remember his name, but, he was very helpful and help me with a smile. They need to improve the food, something more , like authentic Mexican food, I personally, would love if they had a Mexican restaurant in the resort.

I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. The food — especially at the buffet — was truly terrible. The taste, texture, and overall quality are nowhere near what you’d expect from a so-called 5-star resort. Bland, poorly prepared, and repetitive. The only saving grace was Rogelio, one of the bartenders. He made the most incredible passionfruit martini and was genuinely kind and professional. He deserves five stars — the resort, however, does not. What really made me uncomfortable was the lack of safety and care. In the middle of the night, five security guards came banging on our door for no apparent reason. It was frightening and completely unacceptable. We asked to change rooms, and while they accommodated the move, staff were extremely uncaring about how shaken we were. Despite being a small resort, it was nearly impossible to get restaurant reservations. The service overall was cold and disorganized, far below expectations for this price point and rating. I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but this was not a relaxing or safe vacation, and I would not return.

Pros: room service 100% all day any day BUT each time our food came out different then the first time we had it Bar was quick and friendly and accurate Easy and quick to get to the beach Pool was nice BUT the tub part isn’t very warm compared to the pool Nice staff Restaurant by the pool for breakfast was amazing Cons: AC isn’t very cold (at-least in our room) Shower head leaked and the door to the shower door wouldn’t full close Restaurant and major bar was close The actual hot tub (in the spa was closed) Buffet wasn’t very good. It wasn’t crazy big but decent Italian restaurant was meh not really for me personally The is coming from a couple who took a 5 day honeymoon. We are from the Midwest but this is OUR HONEST REVIEW!!!!

We had a lovely time. The staff was very kind and the area was super clean. We had a hard time getting into the restaurants that required reservations so we were bummed about that. Besides not being able to go to some of them, we had a blast.

The view of the beach was great. The sun was good until around 2:00pm. Then obstructed by building. Food at beach side restaurant was very good. Pizza house was excellent. The Italian restaurant was mediocre at best, no flavor and very bland. Breakfast buffet was very good and their staff was always so kind, sweet and helpful. Overall… a good stay.

the food was great, we almost didn't stay because of a few reviews that criticized the food, but they had a great selection and it was really good. Beds were comfy and the staff was wonderful!
