The hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, Rafael provided exceptionally kind and professional service. The food quality was excellent, and the service was even better, especially thanks to Erminio, who took care of us wonderfully. The beach also offers great amenities.

Disappointing Stay with Poor Service and Outdated

My recent stay at The Westin Resort was far from satisfactory. The room service was consistently disappointing, often missing small but essential items like face towels and bathroom rugs, seemingly because we didn’t tip everyday. This felt petty and unprofessional. Additionally, the hotel aggressively pushed a promotional event for a “welcome credit.” However, when we attended as individuals rather than a couple, they revoked the credit, which felt manipulative and discriminatory. The rooms themselves were outdated, with worn furnishings and a general lack of modern amenities, making the stay feel overpriced. Overall, the combination of poor service, coercive tactics, and subpar accommodations made this a highly disappointing experience. I won’t be returning and would not recommend this hotel to others.

We enjoyed the Westin. Staff were nice, pools and beach were beautiful and we enjoyed the food as well. Rooms need updating, specifically bathroom and sink area. Windows would not open on beach side. ☹️

The service was excellent. We purposely sought out Wilberth at the pool because his service was fantastic. He constantly and consistently checked with all the guests sitting in his area for anything they needed. Wilberth made our trip very enjoyable. Thank you!

Fulfilled! Amazing vacation!

When I tell you Westin Cancun owes me nothing I mean it. We literally had the best time waking up everyday to see and hear the beautiful ocean. The resort had everything you needed and was located close to a lot of other places. The only thing I will say is they will try to get you to join their club and be an owner and that can be a little frustrating when they don’t take no for an answer. Also it is a bit pricey at this particular resort so be mindful of that. Definitely have pesos on hand versus USD.
