Staff is very good, well maintained property; great buffet breakfast. Thank you! Spa is wonderful but closes earlier than posted. Gym is spacious and well equipped. I loved walking out my patio to the lagoon area; I was hoping to be part of a Mayan ceremony but didn’t see anything going on near the kiva. I did my own yoga as I didn’t see any classes happening. We enjoyed our 3 night stay.

I have stayed at this hotel prior and had a great time. This time, the staff was really pushy and agressive when it came to selling timeshares. They tried to make you feel special by saying you have a peraonal concierge when in realiity there responsibility is to sell you on services or timeshares. I get thats how a hotel makes money, but i can't even tell you how many times i was approachedcbycthe hotel staff. They used tactics saying they have a gift for me by the concierge desk (mesh bag) or A coupon for a stwrbucks coffee to lure you in to a conversation. Once you get down to the desk they have to call someone for the gift and then sell to you when you wait. Too pushy amd agressive,.

Hotel was good, water was hot, but window painted closed. Restaurant, the one that looks like a tiki bar, is beautiful, but HOT and the food, especially the pizza is not good. Go elsewhere or order local cuisine, avoid their Italian.
