Convenient cheap stopover location

The staff were very helpful and friendly but were missing from front desk quite often and for extended periods so we had to wait to get issues resolved. It is in a convenient location, near several places to eat but it's not easy to walk into Pontypool as the main route is a dual carriageway. We had a room for three and my daughter said the pull out sofabed was very uncomfortable, it did appear to be collapsing. I'd stay again as a couple though.

Great for a weekend away.

Excellent base for exploring the area. Friendly staff and the room was quiet even facing the road. Shower in the bathroom was great after a day out.
