I reserved a room with a Queen size bed. The bed we had was definitely not a Queen bed. If it was, then their definition of Queen bed is different than mine. It was more like just a standard double bed.

The breakfast selection was very limited. Bagels and cream cheese, a larger variety of muffins, small cartons of milk (chocolate and white). I recognize there may be some limitations, so I won’t recommend bacon or sausage or eggs…

MJ in the room!

When we entered into the room, the first thing we were greeted with was the intense smell of marijuana. We asked for a new room, but with Parents weekend going on, along with the MN vs IA game, there were no other rooms available. The staff person gave us a can of air freshener. Luckily Friday evening was warm enough that we could keep the windows open for a while. The combination helped a great deal. They couldn’t compensate us for the situation because we paid for it through hotels.com.

There really wasn’t a breakfast-just bad coffee and waffles. Our door latch was broken and the place needs updating. I will say both afternoon and morning front desk people were VERY pleasant and I felt the rooms were clean.

Bed was incredibly comfortable and soft. Pillows were excellent. The AC vent kept falling and facing the floor so I had to makeshift a stopper so it would cool the room. Shower was great, very hot water. East side and front door access. Checking was a breeze.

The room was very comfortable. The environment was mostly quiet but for a few slammed doors, which is not a big deal. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The coolness of the room in this hot weather was perfect. The only thing I noticed that was not perfect was the mirror above the sink had some water marks on it. I don’t think many people would have even noticed, and it’s the smallest complaint I can think of. Lastly, the staff was wonderful and allowed us to have an hour late check out, which we appreciated so very much!
