Strategically located between Siena and Florence, Villa il Pino retains all the charm of the typical manor houses of the last century, with its stuccos, antique chandeliers, frescoed ceilings and the classic furnishings of Tuscan tradition. The recent renovation has added mod cons to the structure that boasts spacious air-conditioned bedrooms, all with private bathroom, a large, modern fully-equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden, surrounded by rows of olive trees, with an enchanting view over the Chianti hills and the towers of San Gimignano on the horizon, which you can admire while resting in the shade of the large equipped portico or beside the exclusive pool. The property is located in a territory famous for its food, wine and artistic excellences, not far from San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa and the Chianti region which, with its castles and villages, acts as a bridge between Siena and Florence. Shops, restaurants, cafés and train station (on the Siena-Florence line) can be found are in Certaldo, a delightful medieval village about 6 km from the house.
Interior:
The house has two floors, connected internally, and covers a total area of approximately 250 sq m. From the main entrance, up a short ramp, you come to the atrium on the ground floor; from here you go on to a spacious modern kitchen, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower (suitable for the disabled), the dining room and the sitting room with direct access out to the back portico. Going up to the first floor, along a corridor are three double bedrooms with private bathroom with shower, a twin bedroom (with joinable beds) with ensuite bathroom with shower, a double bedroom with bathroom with shower and tub and an additional bathroom with tub and shower for communal use. Up a further flight of stairs is the laundry room.
Air conditioning in the bedrooms (portable air co in the bedroom on the ground floor).
Park:
The private grounds surrounding the villa extend over approximately 1500 sq m. To the rear of the villa, a fenced, flat lawn is a panoramic and secluded area, featuring a large, paved portico furnished with a dining table and seating area. A barbecue and a gazebo with sofas are also set up here. A gate from the lawn opens to a staircase leading down to the pool terrace below. The parking area is located at the end of a driveway, adjacent to the main entrance.
Swimming Pool:
The pool terrace is located on a lower level, about 25 m from the villa, and accessed via a gate and a short flight of steps from the rear garden. Rectangular in shape; Measures 10 x 5 m with a depth from 0.60 to 1.40 m; PVC lining; Salt purification; Roman steps; Internal and external lighting. The surrounding solarium is partly paved and partly lawn, equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrella, gazebo and a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.
