The location is perfect, beautiful town and all the main attractions are walkable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is ok if you’re just looking for a base… definitely not a 4* by normal standards. Basic and small room with a tiny bathroom. Some broken fixtures in the room , electricity flicked on and off randomly, shower turned very hot randomly. Carpets in the hallways were very dirty and it did smell most of the time.

Negatives - it was so noisy during the nights so if you want an early night expect to get disturbed and early morning drilling noises which didn’t help us recover from the flight. Pool was cold, no hot tub just parts of pool had bubbles in floor, sauna not working. Bed small and very firm. Positives the private transfers to the ski resorts upon booking driver was great very friendly. Very good location to town centre. Ski room very handy. Staff welcoming and helpful.

Location is the best thing about this property: walking distance to the best part of town filled with restaurants and shops. Hotel itself is not a place we would go back to, we had two rooms. One with queen size bed , had a reasonable size bathroom and was OK. The second room had two full size beds: room itself was so small that two people couldn’t pass each other side by side trying to get to bathroom!! Amenities were scarce. Half of the electric sockets were inoperable. Lights were off lowest power, room was quite dark with all lights on. The larger room was constantly cold. The thermostat control kept resetting back to cold temp. Front desk was informed about this on three separate occasions but nothing was done. We were promised free shuttle to some of the ski resorts. We booked ourself only once since we had a car and could drive ourselves to and from mountain of our choice. Even that one time , we waited for an hour past the scheduled time but it was “no show”. We were told that the road was blocked due to snow. It was not true, since we drove the same road ourself with no problem: Overall staff were not very helpful. Language barrier may have been a factor but , we sensed a lack of effort to help us with our problems. Spa amenities such as soap and shampoo bottles were left empty. Hallway carpets were dirty with huge spots on them:

Check-in was good. However, the room was small, for the amount paid. Additionally, there was a leak inside of the room. Which I had to place buckets to prevent all our stuff getting wet. The keycards didn’t work. I had to change my key card seven times in order to get into my room. At one point, the front desk had to go in with the main key card to let me into my room. They stated “this can happen, sorry” On a positive note, the hotel is centrally located close to shops and restaurants.
