The front desk guy really should not be working with people. Very unfriendly. The elevator did not work. The room was awful. The windows were open and would not close. The odors were terrible. Everything is very rundown. Housekeeping started banging on doors at 8am. The breakfast selection was not appetizing. We ended up going to Cracker Barrel. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND 1

Entire hotel smells, carpet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years, big stains in rooms. Mattress was old and bouncy. Shower had no hot water, staff said the hotel was busy so “wait a few minutes”, water was barely warm the entire stay. TVs were old and had cable only, no streaming. Breakfast was poor quality and had limited options, hot items were just frozen sausage reheated and kept in steaming water, brown bananas, coffee empty. Ice maker on third floor not functioning. Gym had a few cardio things, no weights, the picture showing that they have a relationship with Fitness Connection is outdated and not accurate. Definitely will not return.

Elevator smelled of pot so bad we opted to use the stairs. Hallway also smelled of pot and the smell was coming into our room during our 2 night stay. The floor in our room had not been vacuumed. The coffee bar cabinet door was damaged from a water leak. Didn’t affect our stay but didn’t look nice. The exterior of the building was nice and clean. The area felt safe.

We have stayed here a bunch of times, its always clean, friendly, free parking and breakfast are bonus to the inexpensive cost. There are updates needed, cracks in the bathroom, stains on some carpets, etc. it's not a Hilton, and we don't mind these things. For the price it's a great spot.

My hotel stay was good. I stayed for four nights. If I had the opportunity to stay there again, I would not mainly because of the location of the location. It’s nestled back in a secluded road, but that part of Tryon Street in Charlotte is one that I prefer to stay away from. The hotel was overall clean, but the carpets were stained on the third floor. There was a lady steam cleaning the floors during the week of my stay. The only other downside was that the Wi-Fi was not stable and the ice machine was broken. Otherwise, the stay was decent. I did not have the opportunity to experience the breakfast, but it did look like it was a nice area. The staff was very courteous and respectful, and I didn’t run into any other issues.

My friends and I stayed here after a concert at a nearby music venue. We checked in and got ready before the concert, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They even offered a shuttle to the concert venue knowing many guests were attending! The room was very clean and had plenty of offerings for us (towels, toilet paper, soaps, etc.) The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. I woke up too late to take advantage of the free breakfast, but staff at the front desk were similarly friendly as we checked out. They also offered hot beverages even after the conclusion of breakfast.
