This place is in the heart of South Park in Charlotte. There are so many dining and shopping options within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet.

The guy that checked me in when I got there was awesome. .He was an older African American man. Great guy. The issue that I had was my room smelled really bad of mildew. I even had mildew forming on my white hat as it Sat in the room over a couple days. It needed a dehumidifier badly. I told one of the guys working there at the desk when I checked out. Also I bought some candy from a guy at the front desk the second day and he wasn't great at service. I think he had iPods in. The breakfasts were great at restaurant. But the mildew smell etc took a lot away from the stay.

I found the entry and exit gates to the parking garage annoying. Also probably because of pollen and wind, the outdoor pool did not appear clean so I didn’t use it.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff who graciously checked us in and made us smile. We thought the room was good but at times, we heard noise from the hallways or even doors slamming. Thankfully we bring our own sound machine but besides that, it was a good place to stay for the night.

Pretty hotel, great location, spotty service

Very pretty hotel in a great location. Staff were great overall and the beds are super comfy. We stayed for 4 nights and unfortunately COULD NOT get our room to be cleaned. We asked numerous times, were assured that it would be taken care of but nothing happened. We rented 2 rooms and it happened to both family units.
